“And what about now?”

“Right now, I just want you to hold me.”

“Is that all?”

I shake my head again. “Let’s just see where the night takes us.”

The night takes us to a handful of orgasms and the best night of sleep I’ve ever gotten. There’s just something about holding the man you love, knowing he loves you just as much. I can’t wait for a lifetime of this with Brooks Morgan.

Chapter 39

Brooks

“I should’ve read the fine print,” I mutter as I park my SUV. “You said you love me.”

“Your sportsmanship could use a little work,” Archer says with a devious smile.

“And my cock could use some air.” I pull at the crotch of the leather pants Archer insisted I wear. “Are these really necessary?”

He looks down at his own pair of shiny pants. “I like them.”

“Probably because yours are the right size. I’m bigger than you.”

“Only by an inch and a half. I didn’t hear you complaining about my size this morning.”

Despite being choked to death, my dick threatens to thicken behind its restraints.

“Are you backing down?” Archer’s gaze is challenging.

“No, but I don’t see why we couldn’t wait until nightfall.”

“It’s busier at nightfall,” Archer argues. “We can come back later this evening.”

I shake my head. “Let’s just get it over with.”

“Maybe a little enthusiasm?”

“Impossible.”

“Need some incentive?” My eyes lock on his hand as he strokes down the front of his pants.

“Would you stop that?”

“No one in the club will bat an eye if you walk in with an erection.”

“It’ll require surgery if that happens,” I mutter.

He leans in close, his body stretching over the center console. “It’s going to feel amazing when you start leaking. The friction—”

“Stop,” I growl, shoving open the driver’s side door and climbing out.

I can’t decide what’s worse as I round the front of my SUV—the squeaking of the fucking pants when I walk normally or the urge to practically waddle to keep it from happening.

I pull open his door, wanting to kiss the dopey grin from his handsome face.

“Is this punishment because I helped Jules move in with Kit this morning?”

He shakes his head, dropping out of my vehicle. The action presses his body against mine.

“The longer we stand in the parking lot, the more likely it is that someone will see us.”

This piece of information has me clasping his hand and tugging him toward the non-descript door.

“You’ve been here before?”

“No,” he answers, stepping past me when I tug the door open. “I found it online.”

“Hi,” the cheery girl behind the desk says the second the door closes behind us. “Welcome to Climax.”

“Hi,” Archer greets before turning his attention to me. “Have you ever been?”

“To a sex club?” I scoff. “Never.”

“I made a reservation online,” Archer says, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “It’s under Morgan. Brooks Morgan.”

I huff a laugh. Of course he used my name.

“I submitted the required paperwork as well.”

Her fingers work over the keyboard in front of her. “You reserved the purple room?”

“That’s correct. I also purchased the—”

“The platinum gift basket. It’s already in the room for you. You’re just down the hall there. Third door on the right.”

“Thank you,” I tell her, in a hurry to get out of sight.

“Very welcome, sir. Enjoy your time.”

I tug on Archer’s hand before he drives me crazy chatting the girl up. He laughs as I drag him behind me.

I stop just short of opening the door and turn to face him.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen in this room.”

“I promise, you’re going to like it.”

I cup his jaw. “You have to agree to one thing before we go inside.”

His eyes narrow. “You’re not allowed to put conditions on my day, Brooks. I won fair and square.”

“You did,” I quickly agree. “Move in with me.”

He freezes, his eyes searching mine.

After the night we reconnected, he confessed that he was getting his house ready to sell, but he hadn’t started looking for another place. We haven’t been able to keep our hands off each other the last couple of days, so I know he’s no closer to finding one.

“You’re serious?”

“I am.”

“You lost your shit when I made the same suggestion two weeks ago.”

“I was a fool.”

“You really want that?”

“Yes.”

“Do you expect me to refuse?”

I shrug. “It’s a big decision.”

“It’s not,” he says, shaking his head. “Of course, I will.”

“It’s nowhere near as big as your place.”

“Are you trying to talk me out of it?”

“You won’t have room for all your stuff.”

“All I need is you.”

My heart fucking melts for this man.

“Is there a problem?”

We both turn our eyes to look at the girl who checked us in.

“None,” I tell her before turning my eyes back to Archer. Right there in front of a witness, I press my lips to his, kissing him soundly before pulling and shoving open the door to the purple room.

“It’s private,” Archer says as my jaw drops. “No one can see us.”
