“Don’t lie to me,” I warned, pulling out again, then pressing even harder.

“I have,” she said, nodding her head as her fingernails scratched up my back.

I didn’t believe her, but less than a second later I was bottoming out and I swear to God, my eyes rolled back in my head.

I pulled out again, then thrust back in, and slowly but surely her muscles loosened around me until the fit was tight but no longer felt impossible.

“That’s so much better,” she said on a sigh as her hands slid around to my chest, her palms flattening over my nipples.

I dropped down to my elbows and she moaned when my pubic bone met hers, giving her a little bit of extra friction against her clit. I wanted to get her off again, but I knew it wasn’t going to happen. I could already feel my balls tightening as I thrust harder and harder.

My hands somehow got wound up in her short hair and I gripped it as my entire body started to shudder. I dropped my mouth back down to her neck and bit down as I came.

“We’re sweaty,” she said as my body relaxed on top of hers. She licked my shoulder. “Salty.”

As I came back down from my orgasm, my mind finally cleared a bit and my head shot up.

“Were you a virgin?” I asked, pushing back up on my arms so I could see her face.

“I told you I wasn’t!”

“Pussy says otherwise.”

“I guess I should take that as a compliment, but it sure as fuck doesn’t sound like one,” she growled back, pushing at my shoulders.

I pulled out and fell to my side as she crossed her arms over her chest. I wasn’t sure if she was trying to look tough or what, but the fact she was naked and spread out over the bed kind of ruined the effect.

“I could barely get in there,” I mumbled, sitting up to pull the condom off. No blood. Thank God.

“So?” She hopped off the bed and pulled her shirt over her head.

“Why are you so goddamn defensive?”

“Because! I told you I wasn’t and you kept asking. Why the hell would I lie?”

“ ’Cause you didn’t want me to stop?” I said confidently, getting to my feet so I could throw the condom away.

She snorted loudly behind me. “Please.”

“Are we seriously fightin’ right now?” I asked, turning to look at her.

“We wouldn’t be if you’d stop being a jackass!” Her lips trembled and I felt like a dick.

“Doesn’t matter if you were a virgin or not,” I said, reaching out to pull her against my chest. “ ’Cause you sure as hell aren’t one now.”

“I’ve had sex before,” she said, wrapping her arms around my waist. “When I was fifteen.”

“Oh yeah?”

She nodded against my chest. “Yeah. It sucked, so I didn’t do it again.”

I chuckled. “Usually does when you’re that young.”

“Not for the guy.”

“True.” I kissed the top of her head and pulled away. “Let’s get you cleaned up.”

I towed her into the bathroom and held her hand as I tossed the condom and turned on the shower. I wasn’t sure how I’d fit inside by myself so I knew there was no way we’d both fit, but I led her inside anyway and left the door open so I could soap her up. I could tell she was a little embarrassed at first, but after a couple minutes she just stood there sleepily, letting me take care of her.

Twenty minutes later we were both clean and crawling back into her bed, underneath the sheets this time. Her house was pretty warm with no air conditioning, but her hair was still wet so I didn’t open a window. It got pretty cold at night.

“Did you always want to be a mechanic, or did you just sort of fall into it?” she asked after a few minutes of quiet.

“Knew I always wanted to be an Ace,” I replied quietly, pulling her tighter against my side. “Workin’ in the garage goes hand in hand with that.”

“If you could do anything else, what would you do?”

“Probably build houses. Restore ’em. I like fixin’ shit up. Works out, though, I’m still doin’ that now, just on my own time. Probably wouldn’t like it so much if it was my job.”

“Makes sense,” she replied, drawing designs on my chest with her fingers. “Mick wanted to build race cars.”

“I know,” I said, smiling into the dark. My brother had loved anything fast—cars, boats, motorcycles, ATV’s—it didn’t matter what it was. “Probably coulda done it, too. Casper’s always lookin’ at ways to drum up new business.”

“You think he would have joined the Aces?” she asked, her fingers pausing.

“Of course.” I glanced down at her, but couldn’t see anything but the top of her head against my shoulder. “Coulda done his own thing if he wanted, but I can’t see him goin’ far from family.”
