“You want to move in with me?”

“Now that Remington’s back, I live here. With my parents. My very protective, very nosy parents.”

That was not going to work at all. “After we drink a mimosa, let’s pack up your stuff.”

“I love you, Beaumont LeBlanc.”

“I love you too, and I’m going to keep showing you every day.”

Epilogue

Three months later

Corbin

“I like this house, don’t you?”

Beau groaned. “We’ve seen so many houses I can’t even remember which one is which. Are you sure we didn’t tour this one yesterday?”

“Of course we didn’t. We haven’t seen any kitchens with cabinets like this.” I pointed to the shaker-style cabinets in a gorgeous blue. “Aren’t they fantastic?”

“I guess.” When I scowled at him, he shook his head. “Maybe I just need a break.”

“We’re never going to find a bigger place if we don’t keep looking.”

“But this is the sixth one this weekend.”

“We need more space.”

“If you didn’t have so many damn clothes, we—”

“Still wouldn’t have a king-size bed or a jacuzzi. There are lots of advantages to this move.”

“True, but I’ll also have to drive to work.”

“Which might mean you should hire more people and not work all the time.”

“I hired Travis, didn’t I?”

“Yes, and he’s done enough to prove himself to you. It’s time to let him have the apartment since he practically lives at the shop now. He could take on a lot more than he has.”

“I’m not going to stop working. I already told you I intend to keep making my own living. I’m not going to live off your family’s money.”

“You could marry me, then it would be your money too.”

Beau froze. “That was… um… hypothetical, right?”

“I guess.” It had been, hadn’t it?

“Corbin? Are you serious?”

“No. I mean, that’s crazy, right?”

Beau sank to one knee in front of me and took my hands. “Corbin Theriot, will you marry me?”

I stared at him and had to swallow before I could speak. “Are you… are you sure?”

“I’ve never been more sure of anything.”

“Yes. Absolutely yes!”

He rose to his feet and pulled me to him for a kiss, which grew more and more heated until he was pushing my shirt up and running his hands over my bare skin, and I was rubbing the heel of my hand against his erection.

He lifted me, and I didn’t even protest. I’d never been more thankful Lance had his real estate license and had let us tour homes on our own.

Beau set me on the kitchen island. “Let’s see how sturdy this is. We want a house that’s well constructed, right?”

“Yes, that’s… so important. It needs thorough testing.”

He pushed at my chest. “Lie back.”

I did as he said, heart pounding. Were we really going to fuck right there in the kitchen of a house that wasn’t ours… yet?

The windows were open. If someone walked by or Lance came to check on us… I squirmed as Beau unfastened my pants, the thought of getting caught only making me hotter.

He yanked my pants and underwear down and pulled off one of my shoes, not even bothering to get my pants fully off the other leg. He pushed my legs apart, gripped my ass cheeks, and slid me along to the edge of the counter.

“You know, if anyone walks by and looks in the window, they can—”

“See me thoroughly fucking you. I want them to know you’re mine and no one else is allowed to touch you.”

“Fuck, that’s so hot.”

Beau pulled a packet of lube from his pocket. We’d both taken to carrying some with us since we couldn’t keep our hands off each other, except for the days when Beau ordered me not to touch myself, but even then, he could only wait so long to pound into me, showing me just how in control he was.

He slicked up his cock and pushed into me, not bothering with any prep. I gasped from the stretch. I was used to him now, but he was still a lot to take.

He gripped the backs of my thighs forcing me to double my legs on my chest. “You might want to hold on. This isn’t going to be gentle.”

It rarely was with him, and that was just how I wanted it. I reached for the edges of the island, stretching my arms wide so I could keep myself from sliding off. I trusted Beau. He would keep me safe while giving me exactly what I wanted, a hard, rough ride right there where anyone might see us.

I turned my head slightly, looking out the window. A small group of people was jogging by.

“You think they’ll see?” Beau asked as he slammed himself into me. “I hope they do. I hope they see me taking you, using you.”

“Please,” I gasped.

He went at me so hard I couldn’t pay attention to who was or wasn’t looking in the window. All I could do was hang on and ride the waves of pleasure driving me closer and closer to climax.
