I sit back in my seat. That’s a big ask, he hasn’t done much ‘scouting’ is the word I like to use for it, and I haven’t gone back to his place of business either.
“That’s a big step, are you sure it’s what you want?”
He nods his head. “Raven, of course it is. All my big steps I want to only be with you. When will you realize that?”
I told him about my insecurities regarding being his first in so many aspects. He told me he wanted me to be his first, last, and everything in between.
What we have, he wouldn’t want with anyone else. Only I know him in this way and that’s the way he wants to keep it. The way he said it put me at ease. I know he was speaking the truth, and I know he doesn’t want any other person. He doesn’t even look anymore, and the way he looks at me makes me greedy for more. If he stays looking at me like that forever, I can see us never breaking up or leaving each other.
He is my forever.
“Okay, I will.”
He smiles and leans in to kiss me.
“Come on, guys, get a room,” Echo yells.
Falcon flips him off making me smile against his mouth.
“Darby.”
We all turn to Creed standing at the door. A woman standing next to him is holding her very pregnant belly. Darby stands.
She smiles. “The baby’s coming.”
I watch as Darby’s face turns white and he runs to her.
Everyone goes quiet and it isn’t until they leave that someone finally talks.
“What the fuck was that?”
I think it came from Storm. She’s staring at Echo waiting for an answer. He stands and walks to where they just left, leaving only Falcon and us girls. He stands too. His hand slips away, his lips brush against mine. “Stay, hang with the girls. Then go home and get naked. I plan to have you as my dinner tonight.”
I blush before he leaves.
Storm smiles at me. “He’s a goner, that one,” she says smiling at where he just left.
“Oh, he’s more than a goner, he’s in love. It looks good on him,” El says.
Creed’s mother smiles and nods her head too.
I don’t ask about the woman with the baby, Falcon will tell me when he’s ready.
So, I spend the rest of the day with the girls and watching Annabelle.
Falcon messages me telling me he will be home in twenty minutes and to make sure I’m naked.
I plan to do just that.
I smile, wide.
Who would have thought I’d be in love with Falcon and moving in with him?
My teenage self cheers.
My adult self smiles, deep within, happy and in love.
