Her face is red, her hair a messy tangle. She's never been more beautiful.
I lean down, brushing my lips over hers. "Fucking perfect," I mutter before dragging her into my arms.
"Coby," she sighs softly, her eyes fluttering.
Within seconds, she's asleep in my arms.
Chapter Six
Elodie
Early morning sunlight filters into my room, spilling across the bed. I stretch my arms over my head, groaning. It's way too freaking early to be awake, but I have errands to run before work today.
"Good morning, princess."
My breath stalls in my throat. I freeze mid-stretch and then flip over in the bed, staring in shock at Coby. He's wide awake, watching me with a tiny grin dancing on his lips.
"You're in my bed."
"Mmhmm." He hooks an arm around my waist, dragging me into his arms.
"Why are you in my bed?"
He narrows his eye on me. "Do you need me to remind you what happened last night, princess?"
"What? No, of course not," I mumble, blushing. I vividly remember what happened last night. The wicked man ruined any hope I had of getting myself off ever again. For the rest of my life, if it isn't him, my body probably won't even bother responding. But that doesn't explain why he's still in my bed. "You spent the night?"
"Yeah." He tips my chin up, brushing a kiss across my lips. "You were worried that this was a booty call. I wasn't going to make you come and then disappear on you, Elodie."
My heart flutters. If there's a perfect guy out there, I think it might be him.
"You could have woken me up, you know."
"And missed listening to you talk about me in your sleep?" He grins. "Nah, I'm good."
I narrow my eyes on him. Okay. So maybe he's not that perfect. "I do not talk in my sleep."
"It's cute that you think that."
"It's too early for you to be this annoying, Coby."
"Then kiss me, and I'll get out of here. Unless you want to risk someone catching me in your bed."
"Definitely not," I squeak, pressing my lips to his in a quick kiss.
"That's not a fucking kiss, Elodie," he growls, hooking his arm around my waist to keep me in place when I try to roll out of his arms. "Kiss me like you mean it."
"I need to brush my teeth."
"You can do that after you kiss me."
"Have you always been this bossy?"
"You can either kiss my mouth, or I'll kiss your pussy good morning. You choose."
My core clenches at the thought of his mouth on me again. And then I quickly press my lips against his. If he makes me come again right now, I may not survive. He wreaked havoc on my body last night. It's going to take a decade for me to recover.
He grunts, licking into my mouth. I melt beneath him as he strokes his tongue along mine, making love to my mouth. I taste myself on his lips and groan, heat coursing through me. It shouldn't be such a turn-on, and yet it is. I love knowing that I'm still all over him.
He kisses me until I can't breathe and then breaks the kiss with a groan, pressing his forehead to mine. "That fucking mouth," he mutters. "If it gets any sweeter, I'll be shoving my cock in it instead of leaving this bed, Elodie."
"Yes, do that," I moan, more than willing to take him between my lips. I've only thought about it every freaking day for weeks.
He chuckles. "If I get my dick out, it won't end with it down your throat, princess. It'll end with you riding me while those perfect tits bounce in my face."
"I mean, that doesn't sound like a bad time to me…"
"Jesus Christ." He laughs again. "You're a horny little thing, aren't you?"
"I woke up with you in my bed. What do you think?"
He smirks at me, running his thumb along my bottom lip. "Spend the night with me tonight, and I'll give you what you want."
"A million dollars and a puppy?" I tease.
"You can have my debit card any time you want it, but I'm not getting you a puppy until you move in with me."
I blink at him, caught off guard by the reminder that he's a millionaire and the casual way he mentions me moving in with him as if it's something he's already considered.
"Yeah, princess," he says softly, as if reading my mind. "I've thought about it a whole helluva lot."
I swallow hard, my heart hammering against my ribcage. This conversation is way too serious for this early in the morning. "You want me to spend the night with you?" I say, trying to steer it back to safer ground.
"Uh, fuck yeah."
"Okay," I whisper.
"Yeah?" He cocks his head to the side, eyeing me like he thinks I'm just messing with him. "You mean it?"
