The next book in Bella Jewel's newest MC series is here! It does NOT contain a cliffhanger, so go on, read it right away!!!

Dear Chloe,
F**k you.
There’s no other way to put it.
You ruined my life.
You took everything from me.
You f**king broke my heart.
You don’t deserve this letter.
Hell, you don’t deserve the air I breathe.
That doesn’t matter now anyway because you’re gone.
You’re gone, but she’s here.
Did you do that on purpose?
Did you send her to that house, our house, to rub it in?
To remind me of the raw and fractured mess you left?
I bet you’re laughing. I know you are.
You wanted to take the knife and twist it one more time.
You wanted to make sure I forever remembered the gaping wound you left.
Well, as far as I’m concerned, you’re not only dead in the ground but you’re dead to me, too.
I’ll never breathe your name again.
I’ll never give you the satisfaction.
As for her…maybe I’ll make it my mission to ensure she suffers.
So you can look down from above, screaming for me to stop, but knowing there isn’t a single thing you can do to make me.
That’ll be my revenge.
I couldn’t do it to you, but can do it to her.
You’ll regret sending her to me.
Enjoy the show.

PROLOGUE

Dear Chloe,

Fuck you.

There’s no other way to put it.

You ruined my life.

You took everything from me.

You fucking broke my heart.

You don’t deserve this letter.

Hell, you don’t deserve the air I breathe.

That doesn’t matter now anyway, because you’re gone.

You’re gone, but she’s here.

Did you do that on purpose?

Did you send her to that house—our house—to rub it in?

To remind me of the raw and fractured mess you left?

I bet you’re laughing. I know you are.

You wanted to take the knife and twist it one more time.

You wanted to make sure I forever remembered the gaping wound you left.

Well, as far as I’m concerned, you’re not only dead in the ground but you’re dead to me, too.

I’ll never breathe your name again.

I’ll never give you the satisfaction.

As for her ... maybe I’ll make it my mission to ensure she suffers.

So you can look down from above, screaming for me to stop, knowing there isn’t a single thing you can do to make me.

That’ll be my revenge.

I couldn’t do it to you but can do it to her.

You’ll regret sending her to me.

Enjoy the show.

Colt.

DEAR COLT,

I don’t know how to write this.

I don’t even know where to start.

If you’re reading this, then I’m no longer around.

I left it somewhere I knew she would find it for you one day, so finally you’d be able to have the answers that you’ve so desperately been seeking.

The answers I kept from you when I went away.

The answers that I know your soul needs.

I wish there was a better way, something that could explain this and make the bitter sorrow in your heart ease, but I know by now the hatred you have for me is strong.

I know because ... I loved you as much as you loved me. I do believe you loved me, Colt, even if you’re shaking your head right now. Even if your heart has a steel wall around it, that the very mention of my name causes it to shrink and tighten, until you’re gasping for air and clenching your fists in rage.

I know you.

That’s what made things so hard.

But the truth is I had no other choice. I had to leave.

I had to because the guilt was consuming me. It was eating me away little by little.

My secret took over my life.

But it wasn’t just my secret.

Somebody else knew what I did.

A stranger in the night, a faceless man who went on to make my life hell after what happened. I never told you about him, because if I had, you would have known the truth.

The truth that I’ve carried around for so many years.

The truth I’ve taken to my grave with me.

You need to find him. You need to end this.

When you read this diary, you’ll know the truth, and when you find out the truth, you’ll hate me forever.

I’m sorry.

He made sure I left and never returned.

In his sick, twisted games, he blackmailed me, he made my life hell, he tormented me until I could do nothing more than pack up and escape.

He was going to take everything from me, including you.

I couldn’t let that happen.

Sorry doesn’t begin to cover it, and so I won’t bother saying that simple word.

Instead, I will tell you that you were on my mind every single second of every single day until the last breath left my lungs.

I know reading this will be hard, and for that, I’m sorry.

Please forgive me.

Take care of my niece, you know she’s my world.

Help her fix our house.

Help it become a home again.

I love you.

Chloe xx

Blaring music has my fists clenching by my sides while I hold my breath, trying not to breathe in the mountains of dust that has settled on the floor over the years. At the very least, the furniture has been covered in old sheets, but that hasn’t stopped the rats from gnawing their way through until they’ve created giant holes, rendering it useless. I haven’t even begun to think about how I’m going to get this furniture out. That’s a problem for another day.

Right now, my only focus is on the fact that I can’t concentrate on a damned thing with the party happening next door. The music is making my house tremble, and the yahooing and shouting can be heard clear as day. This house is a whole lot closer to the biker club next door than it appears when you first drive in. Separated only by some bushland and a small fence, it’s way too close for my liking.

What my aunt was thinking when she decided this was the place she wanted to buy, I’m unsure. It probably had a lot to do with the fact that she was in love with the biker who was originally president of the club next door. Don’t even get me started on him. I don’t know what she sees in that man. He’s a pain in the ass, and ever since I showed my face here, he’s done nothing but make my life hell.
