When he paused, I grabbed his hair and pulled his head back. “Don’t stop!”

Doing my bidding, he thrust fast and hard, forcing me to hold onto the counter. Knowing we were out in the middle of nowhere, I moaned and cried out his name with abandon. There was something incredibly hot about being so raw with one another.

“Fuck, Morgan. I crave you constantly. I can’t…get…enough of you,” he said in time with his thrusts.

“Yes. Harder, Ryan. Please! Harder!” I cried out.

The loud sound of our bodies slapping together only caused my build-up to happen faster. It wasn’t going to be long before I exploded. I dropped my head back as I shouted his name.

“I need you to come, sweetheart.”

“I’m so close!” I cried out.

Then I felt his thumb press against my clit, and everything in me exploded.

“I’m coming! Oh my God, I’m coming!”

I felt myself pulsing around Ryan’s cock as he grew bigger inside me and then gasped my name, both of us coming together in our most intense sex yet. I cried out my pleasure while stars seemed to explode in the bathroom, my orgasm feeling like it lasted for an eternity.

When Ryan stopped moving, I dropped my forehead to his and gasped in breaths of air. Once I could finally breathe, I lifted my head and looked into his eyes.

“Wow,” I managed to say, running my fingers through his hair. “I liked that, a lot.”

He laughed. “Me too, but I didn’t hurt you, did I?”

“No! It felt amazing. There’s something so hot about you losing control like that. And I must admit, the dirty talk nearly had me coming on the spot.”

He winked. “Duly noted.”

The sparkle in his eyes from our lovemaking—no, our fucking—seemed to quickly fade away, and that worry from earlier was back.

“Let’s take a shower,” I said. “Then I want to talk about why you seem so bothered tonight.”

Ryan glanced toward the middle of the bathroom. “I have a better idea. Let’s take a bath.”

Chapter Seventeen

THE RINGMASTER

I balled my fists at my sides as I watched the two of them walk into the cabin. I quickly made my way around the back, finding a bathroom with a large wall of windows. The moment Morgan stepped inside, my heart soared. She stood in front of the windows, and I could just make out the lines of my sweet girl’s silhouette.

I watched her move about the space, and my cock grew harder when she started to undress. She paused, looked out the windows, and froze.

Standing perfectly still, I barely breathed. My hand trembled slightly, making my binoculars shake. Morgan moved back toward the door, then the shades slowly took her from my view.

“Motherfucker!” I growled. I leaned back against a tree and ran my hand through my hair. How could she be with him after I showed her what she was doing to my heart? How?!

I lifted my gaze back to the cabin and glowered. “I’ll right this terrible wrong, my sweet girl. I’ll save you from him…soon. Then you’ll be mine forever.”

Several minutes later, frustrated as fuck that I couldn’t see her, I thought about leaving—until Morgan’s screams of pleasure made me stop.

Quickly lowering to the ground, I leaned against the same tree as I frantically ripped off one glove and tore at the button of my pants. Releasing my stiff cock, I gripped it tight, closing my eyes and envisioning Morgan while I pleasured myself.

When she cried out that she was coming, I groaned and spilled into my gloved hand, moaning her name.

Dropping my head back against the tree, I sighed deeply and whispered, “Tick-tock goes the clock.”

Chapter Eighteen

MORGAN

I leaned back against Ryan’s chest and closed my eyes, enjoying the feel of his body and the warm water as he moved his fingers lightly up and down my arms.

“Are you ready to tell me what’s going on?” I asked.

He sighed. “First, I want you to know that Blayze and I didn’t want to ruin opening day, and that was the only reason we kept this from you.”

I tensed. “Kept what from me?”

“The alarm for your apartment went off today.”

I sat up and turned to look at him. “What? Was it a false alarm?”

From his somber expression, I already knew the answer.

“It was about an hour or so after your opening,” he said. “Blayze and I rushed up the back steps to the apartment. When we got in, the front door had been kicked open. Blayze saw someone run out and went after him, and I made sure the rest of the apartment was clear.”

I felt the blood draining from my face. “Was it?”

He nodded. “But they left something on the bed.”

Suddenly cold as ice, I wrapped my arms around my body and shivered.

He rubbed my arm. “Let’s get out of this water and get warm. I’ll finish telling you everything.”
