Joyce grinned. “Well, if you guys are all good with everything, I’m going to head out. I’ll do the final walk through with you when the time comes. It’s always good to have a second pair of eyes on things.”

Georgiana reached her hand out for the other woman’s. “Thank you so much. It’s truly been a pleasure working with you.”

Joyce smiled at them both. “The pleasure’s been all mine.”

I held the door open for her and said goodbye as she breezed through.

“Well?” Morgan asked, a hopeful look on her beautiful face.

“Reservations for eight tonight. That was the best he could do.”

Georgiana and Morgan both let out a squeal as they danced in place.

“Perfect! That gives me time to get home, change, and do my hair,” Georgiana said.

“You know what dress you want to wear?” Morgan asked as she and Georgiana fell into a conversation about dresses, shoes, and what to do with their hair. I took advantage of the moment and checked my email.

I hadn’t mentioned it to anyone yet, but Bradford and I had submitted rental paperwork on a building a few doors down from Morgan and Georgiana’s place, though we had yet to hear back from the owner. With everything that had been happening lately, however, I wasn’t sure the brewery was a path I wanted to go down right now. Everything had changed now that Morgan was in my life.

Too focused on my email, I didn’t hear Blayze walk in. He hit me on the back, nearly causing me to drop my phone. Shit! I needed to pay better attention, especially when Morgan had a damn stalker out there.

“Jesus, you scared me!” I said as I pushed my phone into my pocket.

Blayze ignored my outburst. “Did you get your stuff moved in?”

“Yeah. I didn’t bring much—a couple bags of clothes and some bathroom stuff. Speaking of moving, Morgan would like to move Titan to my folks’ place so she can ride him more often. Maybe we can work out a day and time to get that done?”

“Sure thing. I can have Hunter do it. He’s already going stir crazy, and he hasn’t been home a full week yet. It didn’t take him long to decide to stay in the guesthouse. My mother was coddling him too much, or so Hunter says.”

I laughed. “He’ll be okay doing it with a broken ankle?”

Blayze huffed. “Please. He was out on a horse this morning, helping me round up some cows. My mother was livid. You’ll never believe what he told me, though.”

“What?”

Blayze glanced around and nodded for me to follow him outside. From the look on his face, whatever news he was about to share was going to be interesting.

“What’s going on?” I asked after he closed the door to the shop.

“Hunter said this producer from LA called him. They’re planning on doing some kind of social dating experiment on a new streaming network. They want to do it here in Hamilton—and have Hunter be the bachelor that a group of women vie for.”

I blinked a few times as I let all of that soak in. “Wait. They want Hunter to be on a reality TV show?”

Blayze laughed. “Yes! Apparently it’s some new streaming network. And they want this show to launch it.”

“What did Hunter say?”

“No, at first.”

I raised a brow. “At first?”

Blayze smiled. “They offered to make a hefty donation to Dad’s foundation.”

“Holy shit.” I shook my head in disbelief. “Does Brock know?”

“Not yet. To be honest, I’m not really sure how my parents will feel about it. I mean, the money would be amazing, but I told Hunter he shouldn’t do anything he’s not comfortable with. Especially when he described it as him and his dick getting treated like a lab rat in a dating experiment.”

I couldn’t help but laugh. “He doesn’t have to ask anyone to marry him at the end, right?”

“Nope,” Blayze said with a shake of his head. “But if he ends up dating one of the girls for at least a month after the show ends, they both get some kind of bonus.”

“Interesting. I’ll be curious to see if he does it.”

“You and me both.”

The door to the shop opened and Georgiana stuck her head out. “Hey, I didn’t know you were here.”

Blayze walked over and kissed her. “You ready to leave?”

“I am! Ryan got us reservations for eight tonight, so I need to go home and get ready.”

Swinging his gaze to me, he asked, “Bradford was able to make it happen?”

“Yeah, he said they normally hold a table or two for special guests, but he couldn’t get us in until eight.”

“Works for me. We’ll meet you and Morgan there?” Blayze asked.

“Why don’t you guys come to Morgan’s first, then we’ll all head over together. That way, we only have to park one car.”

Morgan stepped out of the shop. “Alarm is on. I’m locking up.” When she faced the three of us, she had such a glow on her face. I was so glad she wasn’t thinking about the cat on her doorstep—or the unknown nutcase who’d left it there.
