Tasting her on my fingers only confirmed what I already know: I need inside her, and I’ll never fucking want to leave once I’m there. She’s mine forever now. I’ve never wanted to own a woman before her. If I’m honest with myself, it’s more her owning me. I see now why all the brothers are whipped when it comes to their ol’ ladies. It’s a powerful thing to find such contentment in another human being.

She smiles up at me, her cheeks rosy and teeth biting into that fat bottom lip, making me hard as fuck.

Pushing out the club door, we find Jameson, Rage, and Animal with someone I don’t recognize standing by one of the two SUVs preparing to leave. Their postures are rigid, eyes focused on what the fourth brother is telling them.

“What’s going on?” I ask as we approach them. Four sets of eyes turn to us, Ruby by my side, Lily lurking behind. Jameson breaks away from the group and opens the back door of one of the two SUVs. “Get in, girls,” he orders.

“I want to know what’s going on,” Ruby says. Jameson doesn’t give her an answer. “Please, just both of you get in the car. I’ll be with you in a few minutes.”

Ruby’s mother is in the backseat, her eyes trained out the window. Doc’s blonde hair peeks over the passenger side headrest. Knowing they’re going to have the doc with them makes having to leave her there a little easier.

“I’m not sitting next to her,” Lily scoffs. Night is creeping over the horizon, chilling the air, making her voice rattle with a shiver.

“Christ,” Jameson grumbles, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I can’t deal with you constantly bitching lately, kid.”

“I’m not a kid.”

“I’m coming with you. The girls can ride with me to save the bitching all the way there,” I offer.

Jameson narrows his eyes on me. “We don’t have time to be fucking around. We all ride together. Get in.” He gestures to the girls then puts a hand to my chest before I can enter.

“You should probably hear this.” He jabs a thumb over his shoulder toward the brothers before walking back to where they’re still talking.

“Give us a couple minutes,” I tell Ruby, dropping a kiss to her forehead and helping her into the car. Once Lily reluctantly climbs inside, I close the door and follow Jameson over to the other brothers.

“This is Phoenix. He and a couple brothers grabbed one of Fisher's men after finding out where he lived,” Jameson tells me in a hushed tone.

“Personal?” Animal scoffs, folding his arms and cranking his neck. “None of us have any beef with this little asshole. He’s a nobody. How can this be personal?”

“That’s what this guy said. Fisher said it’s payback he wants on you, Gage.” Phoenix shrugs, using Rage’s given name.

“Me?” Rage booms, apparently as mystified as the rest of us as to why he has issues with him.

“So, all this shit is just a prick with a grudge?” Animal snorts.

“What grudge? I don’t even know this asshole,” Rage boils.

“The only way we’re going to find out is to ask the source himself,” Jameson cuts in, and I couldn’t agree more. I want to feel this little cunt’s blood seeping through my fingers. I’ll get the answers from him.

“Did you get numbers out of him? How many brothers followed Fisher when he turned on his club?” Animal asks.

“We did. Fisher has been enlisting for a while now. Six brothers followed him, and he’s recruited around ten new members. His club is also looking for him.” Phoenix did well getting this information. If his men are talking, it means their loyalty is non-existent and Fisher's leadership is weak.

“I killed three at Ruby’s mother’s house. The one you’re getting this information from makes three. He only has thirteen men. He’ll be easy to take out,” I tell them, ready to go fucking do this. Fuck resting.

“Do we have a location of where he’s putting down roots?” Animal asks.

“Nah, this guy said he moves around from place to place, avoiding his own club’s wrath.” Phoenix rubs at the stubble on his chin.

“I say we check the warehouse where they took me,” I suggest, adrenaline starting to pump through me. I want this fucker now.

“He’d have to be stupid to hole up there knowing you got free.” Jameson shakes his head in dismissal.

“If he doesn’t have choices and is as arrogant as he sounds, he just might be that stupid,” Rage says, fisting his hands.

“Get a team together. Be ready to go by the time I get back. Let’s bring this fight to them, then we go after the big player.” Animal makes the decision. Smacking Phoenix on the shoulder, he says, “You did good. We don’t need him anymore so send word to the brothers holding him to put him to ground and then get their asses back here.”
