I thought about it a moment, really thinking about the situation I found myself in. “Am I happy?” I looked up at him as if he held all my answers. Maybe he did. When he just quirked an eyebrow, I dug deep. Then I nodded slowly. “Yeah. I think I am. I’m happy.” The admission felt like a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I laughed as I tightened my arms around his neck. “I’m happy, Carnage,” I whispered. “I have everything I’ve ever wanted, and I have you to thank for that.”

“Ain’t nothing I did, sweetheart. All I did was make sure you knew you were safe. Any man worth his salt would do that.”

“You’ve also given me more pleasure than I ever thought possible. You’ve shown me how sex is supposed to be. I understand so much now.”

“Hum,” he said, a wicked gleam in his eye. “Maybe it’s time to show you more.”

My stomach did a slow roll, and I shivered. “Yes,” I said, nodding my head. “I want you to show it all to me.”

“All?”

I took a deep breath. I was all in with this. With Carnage. I wanted this man with everything in me. If that meant pushing my comfort zone, I was all for it. “Yes. I want you to show me everything about sex there is to know.”

“Could take a very long time,” he warned. “I won’t start this unless I know you’re willing to stay with me to learn everything I have to teach you.”

“How long we talking about?”

“Could take months. Years, even. Hell, if you prove to be as adventurous as I think you are, it could take even longer than that.”

My heart thudded in my chest. He was hinting at an actual relationship. But I had questions. “Just what would be involved? Carnage, I want this spelled out so there are no misunderstandings.”

“First of all, what’s my name.”

I sucked in a breath. “I thought that was for during sex.”

“It’s for all the time. But only for you. Now. What’s my name?”

“Levi.” I breathed his name like it was my very breath. He was so larger than life, so exceptionally perfect to me I had no words to express. It wasn’t that he’d given me his name when he said not many people knew it. It was that he was insisting I use it. I intended to test that, to push my bounds because it was the only way I had of claiming this man I wanted so badly.

“Good. Now. You explore this with me. No one else. You get me?”

I blinked, probably looking confused. “Who else would I explore it with?”

“Any single motherfucker in this place would love a shot at you. But you’re taken. By me. Anyone tries to come at you, you shut it down.”

“You’re assuming they’ll listen to me. Don’t bikers usually take what they want?”

He shrugged. “Sure. We’ll use anything we can to get a woman into our beds. But you shut it down, they’ll respect your wishes. And if they don’t respect my claim, I’ll bust a motherfucker up.”

I couldn’t help myself -- I laughed and leaned in to kiss him. He threaded a hand in my hair, bunching it in his fist as he kissed me. There was nothing more I wanted to do than lose myself in that kiss. In the man. He had become very important to me and the boys in a very short time.

“I hope you see the way Theo and Bastian look at you. Those boys idolize you. Especially Theo. You know, I even caught him mimicking the way you walk the other day. Practicing as he walked back and forth, watching himself in the sliding glass door in our suite.”

“That boy is very protective of you. He’s gonna be a handful as he gets older. Don’t expect him to miss anything.”

“I know.” That sobered me somewhat. “He’s always been a little more reserved than Bastian, but since I took up with Mark --”

Carnage gave me a hard kiss, silencing the rest of my statement. “That’s over and done with. That motherfucker’s gone from your lives. You’re startin’ a new one. With me. Understand?”

But for how long?

“Carnage!” A woman in the smallest bikini I’d ever seen waved at him from the other side of the pool. Then she turned her head. “Lonnie! I found him! In the pool!”

I looked up and waved. “Hi.” The woman didn’t acknowledge me. Just shucked her bikini as she kept her focus on Carnage.

Her movements were sensual, her curves in perfect proportion. Long, blonde locks shimmered gold in the sun as she kicked aside the bottom of her suit. She dove in, swimming straight to us, inserting herself between me and Carnage. Had someone punched me in the stomach, I wasn’t sure I could have hurt worse.
