“They’re scared of you here?”

“Because they are smart.”

We walked forward.

Right when I thought we were going on to the altar, Azar took us down a small path toward a back room. A row of mirrors lined one side of the hall.

I looked at the mirrors.

My reflection tripled and smiled wildly back at me, telling me that these were not normal mirrors. One of my reflections laughed and pointed my way.

What is this?

Azar shook his head. “Ignore them.”

“W-what are they?”

“Deviant spirits trapped in mirrors.”

“Who trapped them?”

“Ferkos. Apparently, they were too nasty. Even for him.”

I thought of all the erotic activities that we’d just walked away from. “That must be pretty nasty.”

“You have no idea.”

When we arrived at the door, Azar stopped us. “One more rule, Fatou.”

“Yes.”

“Do not talk, unless he directly asks you a question and even then, be careful.”

My heart boomed in my ears. “Okay.”

“Keep the caps on. If he sees your fangs, then it will be a problem. I do not feel like fighting him tonight. I would have no energy for the Boto Brothers tomorrow.”

“Okay.”

Azar knocked on the door.

The door opened by itself.

We walked in.

A handsome incubus demon stood in the center of a large room surrounded by mirrored walls and a mirrored ceiling. He had pale white skin and silky black hair that cascaded down to his lower back. The horns on his head were long, curved, and black. His eyes were a deep, piercing red. He wore a leather vest with no shirt underneath, revealing a well-muscled chest. He appeared to be wearing some sort of leather kilt that hung low on his sculpted waist. His boots were also made of leather, and thick chrome chains wrapped around his thighs.

I caught myself staring at his exposed, muscular chest. He appeared to have black ruins tattooed over his arms.

Ferkos curved his full lips into a smile. “My dear old friend, Azar. Have you finally stopped moping around the planet and decided to have some fun?”

“I have.” Azar kissed my cheek and boldly inhaled the curve of my neck. “As you can see, I have a new toy.”

“New toys are always fun.” Ferkos’s gaze fell on me. His eyes shifted to a glowing red that pierced right through me. I felt a sudden wave of desire wash over my skin.

What’s this? Am I imagining things?

I gritted my teeth and had to fight the urge to throw myself at him.

A dark growl left Azar.

Ferkos moved his gaze from me and put it on him.

The wave of desire stopped.

Ferkos did that? Oh my God. How powerful is he?

“I’m sorry, old friend.” Ferkos smiled. “She just smells. . .divine. I want to taste her pussy. Let her come to me.”

“She’s mine.”

Curiosity filled Ferkos’s eyes. “You usually have no problem sharing.”

“In this case, I do.”

Power radiated off of Ferkos. “Why?”

“She is special.”

Ferkos frowned. “That is why I want to taste her.”

The door slammed shut behind us.

I inched closer to Azar and placed my hands on the garter under my dress.

Azar stepped forward. “I came for information.”

“And I will not give it to you, unless you let me put my cock into your new toy.”

Annoyance covered Azar’s face. “You’ve tried to fuck my mind before and when you did, was there any enjoyment out of it?”

“There was not.” Ferkos sighed. “In fact, it took me an entire year to regrow my penis.”

“You’re lucky it came back at all. I tried to claw the very fucking root out of your body.” Azar’s face calmed. “So. . .get the thoughts of you fucking my toy. . .out of your mind.”

“Interesting,” Ferkos turned around. The leather kilt spun with him.

And then suddenly the space shifted abruptly into an enchanted forest.

I gasped, taking the vision all in.

The trees were black as night, their leaves a deep crimson red. A light breeze ruffled the leaves of the trees. White birds chirped on the branches, their songs piercing the silence. The ground shifted to a soft, spongy black dirt. The air sparked with a bitter, metallic taste. And the sweet aroma of vanilla and berries filled my nose.

A silver table appeared in the center of the clearing, surrounded by three chairs. The table was ornately carved with images of animals fucking. The simple chairs were unadorned and made of dark wood.

A black tray materialized on the table. Dark red heart-shaped fruit covered the tray. A tea pot and three cups materialized next to it.

Ferkos sat in the chair across from the other two. “Shall we have tea?”

Azar guided me forward and whispered, “Do not drink or eat anything.”

You didn’t have to tell me that.

I absolutely didn’t trust Ferkos or anything I was seeing. Only God knew if there was truly a forest at all. Honestly, this might not even be a room. We could be outside or in a dirty basement. There could be tons and tons of corpses on the floor all around us.
