No rocking horse could ever rival this. Jordi felt the tingles gathering together inside her. She shifted backward and forward, trying to find the exact spot she needed to feel him to climax. Callen pressed his thumb against her clit. The rough calluses of his working man’s hand provided the perfect touch to help her.

“Aahhh!” Jordi cried out into the room as her body seized with a massive orgasm. She writhed on top of him as he touched her.

“That’s my Sunshine,” he praised. “You’re going to do that again.”

“Uh uh. I can’t.”

“Oh, yes, you can,” Callen promised as he sat up fully.

Wrapping one arm around her waist, he helped her ride him faster and faster. Those sparks gathered low in her belly as he took over. Jordi slid her hands over his body, loving the gleam of sweat that formed on their skin. When Callen’s free hand tapped her bottom lightly, she wiggled in response and there! Her body exploded around him, squeezing his cock buried deep inside her.

“Little girl,” Callen groaned as he thrust quicker. Exploding inside her, he hugged Jordi to him as if he’d never let her go.

Jordi crossed her fingers. Please, let this be for real. Please, let him be my Daddy forever.

“I’m never letting you go, sweet Sunshine,” he told her as he lay back on the bed, drawing her down on his chest. When the brim of her hat bonked him on the nose, he plucked it from her head and tossed it to land on the post of the headboard.

Of course, he made it. Her Daddy was pure magic.

Later, as she rushed in to finish the last remaining tasks of the remodeling job, Jordi couldn’t keep the smile from her face and ended up having to wear a mask to keep the sanding dust out of her mouth. It was totally worth it.

“Jordi! It looks amazing in here,” Louisa complimented.

Turning off the power equipment, Jordi pulled off her mask and commented, “It’s almost ready for the full walk through. Can we schedule a time tomorrow for you to see the final product?”

“Of course. I can’t imagine how it can get better. Oh, my! Look at the pipes at the sink! That is gorgeous. This is going to be an amazing place to work.”

“I hope everyone loves it for years to come,” Jordi celebrated. This was exactly the reaction she’d hoped to see.

Chapter Thirteen

“I’m so happy for you,” Callen declared as he swung his Little girl around in a circle later that evening.

She giggled, tossing her head back and then squealing from excitement. “I did it, Daddy! That was my first really large project, and I did it. I also did it on schedule and under budget! I was worried for a few hours I would end up losing money if I had needed to move those pipes, but you saved the day with your suggestion to leave them exposed and make it look intentional. The client thought it was so cool.”

Holding her around the waist high off the floor made her taller than him, and Callen pulled his Little girl’s head down for a kiss. “Don’t give me any of the credit, Little girl. It was all you. You would have figured out a solution by yourself. I know you would have.”

“Maybe,” she admitted as he let her slide down to her feet, “but I like to think we were kind of a team. That part was fun. I liked it when you came in and helped me out. Without you, I wouldn’t have gotten the job done on time. My usual assistant, Paul, still hasn’t been back to work. He told me his daughter had the flu earlier this week, but I haven’t heard from him again in a few days. I think he might have lied and he’s not coming back and he didn’t have the balls to tell me to my face.”

Callen frowned. “That’s not very kind. How long was Paul working for you?”

“For a few weeks. He did a great job though, and I thought we worked well together, so it kind of surprises me that he would just not show up or call.”

“I’m sorry, Sunshine. I guess we need to find you another assistant then. I’ll keep my eyes and ears open at the hardware store. I’m not currently hiring, but I might see an application for someone who would be perfect for you.”

She hugged his neck really tight. “Thank you, Daddy. That would be amazing.”

“Do you already have your next job lined up?”

She nodded, grinning wide. “Yep. But it doesn’t start until the middle of next week. I’ll need to take some time to go over the details and gather the hardware I’ll need, but other than that, I have four whole days off.”

Callen lifted her hands to his lips and kissed her knuckles. “I love that. I’ll make a few calls and get someone to fill in for me too. We can have four days together. How does that sound?”
