A sudden thought went through her mind—what would it feel like for him to rub his cheeks against her thighs? She flushed deeply as she tried to shake the thought away.

“Take some deep breaths, Little one,” he encouraged. “I know there are a lot of big feelings running through your head. It’s okay. I’ve got you. You’re the most perfect Little girl ever. I know it’s hard to let your guard down and trust Daddy, but I won’t let you down. My heart is beating hard for you.”

She drew in another deep breath, reminding herself how good he smelled.

“Can I lift you onto my lap, Sunshine?”

She nodded yet again, aware she hadn’t spoken a single word since he’d arrived.

Callen lifted her up and settled her on one knee with her legs between his. “There.” He ran his hand down one of her braids. “I love these braids. You’re very good at fixing them. Maybe one day soon you’ll let Daddy do your hair.”

She swallowed over a lump in her throat. There was nothing she wanted more in the world than for a real Daddy to take care of her. Fix her hair. Give her a bath. Feed her even. Was it possible Callen might really be that man?

“Do you like princesses?” he asked next, fingering the front of her poufy dress.

She nodded.

“I bet you have a lot of pretty princess dresses then, yeah?”

She nodded again.

“And movies. Do you have all the good princess movies?”

Another nod.

“I bet you’ve seen them a dozen times each.”

And another nod.

“Let’s see…” He looked up and down her body and then glanced around the room. “I bet you like to play in the age range of about a toddler.”

How did he know that?

He smiled. “I see a sippy cup on your counter and pictures you’ve colored on your fridge.”

Oh.

“What’s two plus two?” he asked.

Confused, she blurted out, “Four.” And then she slapped a hand over her mouth, realizing he’d tricked her into speaking.

He chuckled, and his entire body vibrated, making her bounce. “She speaks,” he declared. “I wasn’t sure if your Little spoke.”

Jordi licked her lips. “She speaks,” she whispered. “She’s just nervous.”

“Understandable. Is she shy too?”

Jordi shrugged. “I don’t know.” She’d never thought about it. She’d never tested it.

“Ah. You haven’t exposed your Little to anyone before, have you?”

“No, Sir,” she whispered.

“How about instead of Sir, you call me Daddy?”

“Daddy…” she said, trying it out. It sounded weird coming from her mouth. She’d only ever said that out loud when she was role playing with her dolls alone.

“So, what does your Little like to do when no one else is here? What does a typical evening look like?”

“Well, I usually come home and shower and I think that washes my adult down the drain,” Jordi began.

Callen chuckled. “That sounds perfect. What a creative idea. Then what?”

“Then I get dressed in something that makes me feel pretty, make myself something easy for dinner, and color or do a puzzle while I watch cartoons or movies. Also…” She glanced at him, feeling uncertain about what she was about to say next.

He lifted a brow. “What else?”

“I like to sing along to the movies. I know all the songs by heart, but I don’t have a good voice so I’m sure it sounds awful.”

“I bet you have a great voice. I can’t wait to hear you.”

She shook her head. “I couldn’t sing in front of you, silly Daddy.”

Callen’s smile spread. “I like the way that sounds, Little one.”

“Silly?” she joked.

He laughed again. “Not that part, the other part.”

She tapped her lips, pretending not to remember.

Callen tipped her back in his arms and tickled her right under the ribs.

Jordi giggled and squirmed. Her skirt rose up on her thighs, and when Callen stopped tickling her, he set his palm on her bare leg.

“I love the sound of you laughing,” he said, his voice deeper than before.

Her breath hitched as he gripped her thigh. “I assume you’ve read a lot of books about age play and probably done some internet research, which means you have a vision in your head of the perfect Daddy.”

She shrugged, not sure what he was alluding to.

“In your imagination, does the Daddy kiss you when you’re in Little space? Or would you prefer he save the sexy times for when you’re in your adult space?”

She swallowed hard and licked her lips. She felt pretty sure her answer wouldn’t displease him. “He kisses me in my Little space,” she whispered, praying he wouldn’t think that was weird. It certainly had never actually happened. It was all in her head.

Callen lifted his hand from her thigh and brought it to her cheek. “How about if I kiss you? Maybe that would help break the ice.”

“Okay.” She wanted that more than anything, even if this relationship was moving rather fast.
