I nod, and he frowns.

“Sorry, it seemed like he just wanted to help you out by getting you those clothes you needed.”

I shrug as casually as I can. “No, it’s fine. Just a miscommunication.” I shrug again and smile at him as he sinks into his desk chair.

“Anyways, thanks anyways, Coach, for—”

My words falter, because right then is when my eyes drop to the floor, and there, right behind him and half under his desk is a small, lacy, black pair of thong panties.

I blush, quickly looking back up at him, and suddenly, I’m acutely reminded that there is zero construction going on in girls’ locker room, as opposed to what he was saying.

“I—uh, I guess I’ll just take off then.”

He smiles, and as I’m turning to leave, I hear him stand.

“Oh, Ramona, can you do me a favor?”

I swallow.

Don’t look at the girl’s panties on the ground. Don’t look at the girl’s panties on the ground.

I turn and force a smile to my face. “Yeah?”

“Look when you do see Jamison, can you lean on him a little for me?”

I frown. “What’d he do?”

He chuckles. “No, nothing bad. He’s a swimmer, right?”

I nod. “Yeah, he’s in our pool all the damn time.”

Like this morning, when he looked up my skirt and saw my pussy.

“Well, I want him on the guy’s team, but he’s not into it. I was hoping you could talk him into it.”

I snort a brittle laugh. “Coach Kirby, I don’t think Jamison listens to anyone, least of all me.”

He chuckles.

“Well, if you can.”

“Yeah.”

I can’t help it. My eyes drop and my gaze slides right back to that pair of panties under his desk, and I blush furiously. Luckily, he doesn’t seem to follow my glance at all.

What the hell is going on here?

I cough, clearing my throat as I drag my eyes back to him.

“I’ll see what I can do.”

He smiles. “Thanks, Ramona.”

“See you later, Coach.”

Ramona

I’m furious as I drive home. Today was terrible, and the horrible, sinfully wicked thoughts of Jamison Scott following my every step didn’t help at all. That and the fact that I was helplessly wet basically the entire day, thanks to those very thoughts of him.

I know I could have borrowed something to wear from a friend, but, c’mon, really? That would have involved the awkwardness of telling them that I wasn’t wearing anything under my skirt. And worse, it would have involved telling them why exactly I was at school like that.

Oh, no big deal. My stepbrother stole all my underwear. That’s normal, right?

The thought flashes in my head, and I blush furiously as I grip the wheel of my Tesla tight. There’s a second part to this whole thing that I’ve thought through more than few times today: Jamison stole all my panties, but that means he has them all.

I swallow, squeezing my thighs tighter as I pull through the automatically opening gates to Weiss Manor and roar up the driveway.

…And there he is.

I turn the car off and jump out, fuming as I march over to where he’s climbing out of his Land Rover.

“You fucking creep,” I hiss.

He grins as he turns towards me.

“And how was school today, Ramona?”

“Where the fuck is my underwear?”

He frowns, tapping his jaw thoughtfully.

“Hmm, you know, I’m not sure. But usually these things are in the last place you left them. Should we check there?”

He reaches for my skirt and he even grips the hem with two fingers before I slap them way. He chuckles

“Goddamnit, Jamison,” I mutter.

He sighs. “You’ve gotta learn to relax, Moaner.”

“Oh really? Well it’s a little hard to relax when you’re wearing a fucking skirt with no panties all fucking day!”

He grins, his brow arched.

“Was it now? Too hot and bothered?”

I blush, shivering before I purse my lips.

“Fuck you. I’m going to go get them.”

“Be my guest.”

I storm inside, aware of him following me as I drop my stuff in the huge marble and oak foyer and start to stomp up the big, curved staircase.

“My door is locked, by the way.”

I pause, pursing my lips before I turn back.

“Unlock it.”

He shakes his head.

“Naaaah. I’m not sure we’re there yet. I mean this is a prank war, Maon—”

“Open the door or I’ll break it down!” I snap.

I’m extremely aware of how ridiculous a threat it is even as I say it, and his grin underscores it even more.

“Right, well, don’t hurt yourself.”

I scowl at him.

“You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”

“Immensely.”

“Why,” I snap.

“Because it’s fun?”

“You like the idea of me being uncomfortable and embarrassed all day?!” I snap.

Instantly, his smile fades.

“No,” he growls, his look hardening. “It’s more that I like the idea of you walking around all day without any panties on,” he says thickly. And suddenly, the mood shifts.

The house seems warmer.

The air thicker.

And I’m very, very aware suddenly that it’s just us here. No parents. No Marta. Just us. I swallow the lump that forms in my throat, shivering heatedly.
