Who in the hell was he?

His light brown hair had been so soft as the strands slid between my fingers the night before. I didn’t even know men could have hair that soft. I mean, fuck, what product of shampoo did he even use? Because I needed it. His hair was close-cropped but long on the top, but even the close-cropped parts hadn’t felt prickly like I was used to.

And fuck, that beard. It was full but trimmed, and I loved the way it felt as I dragged my nails through it. It left me wondering what that beard would feel like scraping along my inner thighs, leaving beard burns along my tender, pale skin. I touched my thighs as I thought of it, a soft sigh leaving my lips.

And those eyes.

Fucking hell, those eyes.

They were a gunmetal gray, stealing the breath from my lungs, hypnotizing me. I’d felt myself moving off the stage before I was even aware I’d made the decision. His gaze was intense—focused. And hunger resided in that gaze, beckoning me to him, tempting me into temptation.

He was all smooth on the surface—anyone looking at him could see that—but I had a feeling he was full of jagged edges beneath his exterior. And I wanted him to cut me open. I knew without a doubt I’d happily bleed for him.

I was hooked on a customer, which was usually a big no-no of mine. In fact, it was my number one rule. But I couldn’t fucking stay away from him. I knew I’d never be able to.

Shaking my head, I slipped out of my car and headed inside the club. I wasn’t due to start work for an hour, but I was hoping I could talk to Chelsea. Maybe she would have some information on my latest obsession. And it was an obsession. I wanted to know everything about him, but the only thing I’d been able to find out was his name, which was Seb Emery, he co-owned Storm Hogs Construction with five other men all in the motorcycle club he was in, and he was the vice president of the Storm Hogs MC.

Other than that, he was basically nonexistent. No social media. No public phone numbers or addresses. No criminal record to be found.

“Hey, girly. You’re early,” Chelsea said, looking up at me when I knocked on her office door. She leaned back in her plush, black desk chair, dropping her pen onto the desk with a kind smile. “Everything okay?”

I nodded. “Is it okay if I come in?”

“Sure,” she said, gesturing to the chair in front of her. “Come on. You look like you’ve got something on your mind.”

I nodded again. “I do. It’s actually about one of the customers. Seb Emery? Do you know him?”

Chelsea winked at me, making my cheeks flush. “Do I know him? Of course, I do. He’s Cecily’s husband’s VP. The quietest man I’ve ever known in my life. He never talks much, but he’s a regular here. I saw the two of you together last night.” Chelsea was such a gossip. “How’d that go?”

I shrugged, my cheeks turning a light shade of red just when they’d begun to cool down, and I cursed my pale complexion when Chelsea’s grin widened at the sight of it. “He was… God, he was nice. He treated me like I was a regular woman instead of a stripper baring her body to earn some easy cash.”

His words from last night rang through my head. Only if you do, too. Fuck. My blood heated. I didn’t know they even made men like him anymore.

Chelsea smirked. “Want to know a secret? He doesn’t fuck around much, to be real. No one knows if he’s ever had a serious girlfriend. He works, and then he comes here to drink and enjoy the show. Occasionally, he’ll get a girl to give him a lap dance, but I think it’s mostly because he wants to help put money in their pockets.” She drummed her fingers on the desk, looking a bit contemplative. “But I’ve heard when he fucks, he’s a goddamn master at it.”

“Chelsea!” I hissed. But my body warmed at her words. Shit, I wanted to experience that for myself, see if what everyone said was true. Would I ever get the opportunity to find out?

“He’ll probably be in later tonight. Go on and get dolled up, girly. I’ll put you on the bar until about six. He should stroll in any time after that. When he comes in, you spend the night tending to him. And when you two end up together and are living happily ever after, remember to invite me to your wedding.”

I barked out a laugh as I stood to my feet. “Aren’t you getting a little ahead of yourself, Chelsea?”

She snorted. “Me? Never. I can sense these things.” She waved me off. “Now, shoo. Cecily is going to have my ass if I don’t get these books done.”
