“You ready for me?” Clay asked, still fucking him with his fingers.

“Please,” Dane pleaded.

A begging Dane was more than Clay could resist.

He moved over him, putting one arm under Dane’s left leg to open him up all the way. He used his free hand to guide himself inside Dane, pushing slowly in. Then he used that hand to brace himself over Dane.

“Yes,” Dane hissed, bringing his hips up to meet Clay’s thrust. “Right there! Fuck!”

Clay held his breath, that tight clasp so damn good around his cock. He pressed in deeper and couldn’t stop the whimper that left his mouth. It was just that fantastic. Better than he’d imagined.

He glanced to where they were joined, his attention snagging on the pre-cum leaking from Dane’s dick. He let go of his leg and reached down to run his thumb through it. Lifting his finger, he sucked it, then lurched up to kiss Dane to share the taste. The move pressed him even deeper inside Dane, who shuddered and kissed him.

Love made this even better, his feelings for the man under him swamping him and making his hips stutter. Dane grabbed his ass and pressed. Clay pulled back enough to suck air into his starving lungs. He groaned and began rocking his hips. Dane’s answering moan was music to his ears.

Dane panted as he gripped Clay’s ass. “You feel so fucking good!”

“So do you. Fuck.”

His orgasm gathered in the tightening of his balls, and he wasn’t ready for this to be over. He slowed his movements, but that didn’t help. Dane just felt too wonderful surrounding his dick.

Dane latched on to his neck and sucked. The sweet sensation wretched a cry from Clay. He barreled into the man then, unable to stop the pumping of his hips.

“Fuck yeah,” Dane breathed, licking his neck. “Fuck me just like that.”

Clay powered into him as he lost control and shattered, filling Dane’s hot channel. His lover moaned and tightened around him.

“That’s it, come inside me.”

Hoarse cries left Clay’s throat as his orgasm seemed to go on. He collapsed onto Dane and the man wrapped tight arms around him, dropping kisses on his hair and cheeks. He stayed inside him until he couldn’t anymore.

Dane was still hard, so he moved down that beautiful body and took him into his mouth.

“Oh, my…shit…how can the sex be…this fantastic?” Dane yelled and spasmed in his mouth, his dick swelling before he shot into Clay’s throat. He clenched his hands into Clay’s hair and bowed up off the bed as he shot and shot. Clay swallowed him, then licked him clean. He rested his head on Dane’s abdomen.

“Hell,” Dane breathed. “I think I could die from this.”

“No dying,” Clay said, kissing his navel. “Just lots and lots more of this. Forever.”

“Forever,” Dane agreed, stroking his hands through Clay’s hair. “Fuck, you’re great with your mouth. And your dick.”

Clay grinned against his skin, dropping kisses along any part of him he could reach. “So are you.”

“I can’t believe we’re going to live forever and get to do this as much as we want.”

“Me neither.” Clay looked up at him. “You know this is all new to me, too. I had no idea I had powers or that I was coming here for such a reason. None at all. All I knew was this restlessness, this feeling that something was missing.”

“And now?”

“And now,” Clay said as he climbed up Dane’s body and lay on top of him. “Now, I know what it feels like to be complete.”

“Damn, Clay. The things you say.”

“I love you, Dane Briggs, and I don’t see that ever changing.”

“Good. Because I’ve decided to keep you.”

“We’ll keep each other.”

Clay wrapped his arms around Dane and held him close, planning to hold on to the man for the rest of his life. He could only hope they’d win against the pestilents, because he couldn’t imagine a better life.

Chapter 22

Dane carried a couple of glasses of iced tea out onto the rear patio. Some new outdoor furniture had been delivered the day before and Clay, Baer, and Grey were relaxing in the cushioned wicker seats near the summer kitchen. A fire had been built in the outdoor fireplace, not that it was cool enough to need it.

But there was something comforting about the flickering flames and the crackle of the burning wood. The light beat back the twilight settling over the earth and the pestilents that lingered in the shadows of their minds.

As Dane drew closer, Clay twisted a little on the love seat and jumped to his feet at the sight of him. With it came a burst of joy, pushing aside the little ball of worry that had settled in Dane’s chest. Clay’s emotions. He could feel them as clearly as he could feel his own. This new twist had kicked in after they’d finally separated in bed, and it was going to take some getting used to.
