From the first moment I saw him, I was attracted to him. Even though he was ten years younger than me, I still fell for his growly, alpha ways.

Brewer
I’m a player. Always have been. But when I meet Maggie, she turns me upside down.
I want to claim her, make her mine… I just have to convince her she wants the same thing.

Dear Reader,
I love to read MC romances. I’ve just always enjoyed reading about the tightness of the MC brothers and the way they love their women. I love it so much that I have always wanted to write one. However, being a short story romance author, it seemed impossible to build an in depth storyline like most MC romance series, but I wanted to give it a try. Therefore, I present to you my version of an MC romance. I’m borrowing the term MC Lite from Frankie Love. It is heavy on the motorcycle club sense of family, it has lots of alpha men and the curvy women that love them. However, it is a little lite on the drama and most violence is handled off page. I sincerely hope you like it.

This is a Steamy, Sweet, Short Story Romance. No Cliffhangers. This is the seventh story in the Exiled Guardians MC Series. If you love short romances with insta love, hot love scenes, and a sweet story, then this one is for you.

Brewer

Watching her get out of the car, I drop the wrench in my hand to the ground. I stand up, wiping my hands on my coveralls. Mikey starts walking toward her, but I put a hand out to stop him. No one is helping her. No one but me.

I look at her the whole time I walk out of the bay and don’t stop until I’m standing right next to her, with only a car door separating us.

She’s beautiful. Her red hair is short and shaped around her face. Her big blue eyes are staring back at me and I know exactly what she’s thinking. The same thing as me. The hell of it is, though, I don’t hold my thoughts back. If I want something I go for it.

Her forehead creases and the open, interested look on her face from only moments ago is now gone. I’m going to have to pull back a little on her, get her to open up. “Hey! How can I help you?”

She stutters, but then shakes her head a little and finally says, “I have a tire that keeps going low. I don’t know if I have a nail in it or what’s wrong with it.”

“Sure, what’s your name?” I mean to keep it light, but it’s almost like I’m demanding her name instead of asking it.

She cocks her head to the side and I smile. It’s an easy smile, laid back and meant to show her I mean no harm. But damn, on the inside, I’m fighting not to pick her up, throw her over my shoulder and take her home with me so I can fuck her three ways to Sunday.

“Maggie. Maggie Lane.”

I pull a small pad of paper out of my pocket and write her name down. “What’s your phone number, Maggie?”

When she doesn’t respond, I look up from the paper in my hand. She’s looking at me skeptically. “Are you sticking around? Waiting for the car?”

She shakes her head and gestures to the car parked at the end of the lot. “No, I have a friend waiting for me.”

I look where she gestures, but I can’t tell if it’s a man or a woman behind the wheel by the way it’s angled. I nod my head, pushing my jealous feelings to the side, “Okay, well, if you give me your number I’ll call you when it’s ready.”

She laughs then and shakes her head. “Oh, yeah, of course.” She gives me her digits and I write them down quickly then repeat them to her, already committing them to memory.

I put the pen and paper back in my pocket and take the keys she’s holding out to me. When our hands collide, I can’t stop my sharp intake of breath. I look into her eyes, and I know she feels it too. I wrap my big palm around hers which is still holding the keys. I’m about to pull her into me but stop suddenly. She feels it. I know she feels it. Her cheeks are red, the pulse at the side of her neck is practically vibrating, her nostrils are flared, and her hard nipples are pushing against her white button-down shirt.

Oh, she wants it. There’s no doubt. But she’s fighting it. Her posture locks up and her eyes widen. I stand there with her hand in mine, fighting with myself on what to do. When she tugs her hand from mine, it’s like the moment is lost. Her face is void of any emotion.

I want to ask her if she has a man. But in the end, I don’t. Because honestly, it doesn’t matter. Not to me. Even if she has someone now, she won’t for long. I’ve never felt this intense need for someone and I’m not going to let anything come between us.

When she realizes that we’re just standing here , staring at each other, she turns around and starts to walk off. She stops around ten feet away and turns around to look at me. I still haven’t moved. I can’t take my eyes off her. I’m pretty sure she just caught me staring at her ass also. And man, what an ass. Just watching her curvy body walk away gets my heart racing and my blood boiling. Not to mention the hardening bulge between my legs. She gets to the car and sits down, still watching me out the window as she pulls away.

Maggie

“Everything okay?” Christie asks me as I sit down in the passenger seat of her car.

Nodding my head, I put on my seatbelt. “Yes. Thanks for picking me up.”

“It’s no problem. We’re going to the same place and I drive right past here,” she says. She starts talking about the day ahead and I get lost in thought.

She pulls out of the parking lot and I’m still watching him as we drive away. His name is Brewer. He didn’t tell me that, but it was the name on his coveralls. I couldn’t see much because of his clothes, but I could tell enough to get my body humming under his scrutiny. I felt it and I know he did too. There was definitely a connection. Not that I’m going to do anything about it.
