“Mom, it was fine, just some friends.”

“It was not fine, Waverly,” mom snaps. She’s pissed, but I know it’s mostly that she was probably freaking out about me. She even looks like she barely slept, which makes me feel terrible.

“Were you drunk?”

“No!” another lie, but in this case, I feel like the truth would scare her more.

“It was just a swim thing, mom, okay? We just all hung out watching SNL reruns and gossiping. Then we slept there ‘cause it was late.”

Her eyes go wide. “You slept at some party?!”

“Just girls, okay?” Lies. Lies, lies, lies. And trust me, I feel awful saying them. But the truth is just… well, in the words of Jack Nicholson, she couldn’t handle the truth.

“Why did you lie about last night?” She snaps.

“Because you’d freak out like this if you knew I was going to a party?”

She purses her lips, pinching the bridge of her nose and sighing.

“Waverly—”

“Mom, I push all the time, okay? Swim, grades, all of it! I just needed to… I don’t know.”

“Blow off steam?”

I smile wryly as I nod. “Yeah.”

Mom sighs. “Look, honey, you know I’m so proud you. You’re doing so well, and you’ve got so many options and doors open for you for next year. I just get worried.”

I step closer to her and take her hands in mine.

“I know, mom, and I’m sorry. I really should have just told you.”

She sighs, eyeing me with a small smile on her lips. “You should have.”

I grin as I step into her and hug her tightly.

“I’m just glad you’re safe, honey. That’s all that matters.”

“I love you, mom.”

“Love you too, honey.”

I pull back, feeling way better as I smile at her

“Okay, I’m going to go shower.”

She smiles back. “Okay. You hungry?”

“Starved actually.”

She grins. “I’ll make you a sandwich.”

“Thank, mom.”

I give her another hug before I turn to head for the stairs.

“Oh, and Waverly?”

I turn. “Yeah?”

Mom smiles. “You’re grounded.”

* * *

“Hey.”

His voice purrs like liquid heat through the phone, and I shiver as I sink into big wing-back chair in my room. I hug my knees to my chest, grinning like an idiot as the flush teases through me.

“Hey,” I murmur back.

I’m showered, shampooed, dressed in cozy clothes, and looking at myself in the mirror across the room, grinning that I’m not a virgin anymore.

…Because of him.

Heat flushes through me, and I shiver with the wicked, scandalous knowledge that I just lost my v-card last night to my gorgeous, hunky, much older high school swim coach.

“How’d it go getting home this morning?”

I groan, and he chuckles.

“Shit, that bad huh?”

“Let’s just say it could have been worse? But it also could have been a lot better. She ran into Sasha last night when I was supposed to be staying at her dorm.”

He winces. “Fuck.”

“Yeah, basically. I’m grounded.”

He swears. “Damn, sorry beautiful.”

I pout for a second before I grin.

“It’s fine. Or it is what it is. How are you?”

“Missing you,” he growls instantly, making me shiver. “A lot, actually.”

“Oh really.”

“Very really,” he groans. “I want to see you again.”

I blush, raking my teeth over my lip.

“I want to see you again too,” I whisper.

“But you’re grounded.”

“Yeah,” I grumble.

“But you’re okay?”

“Yeah?”

I can hear him smile. “No, I mean about this morning. With what… you know.”

“Oh,” I murmur, blushing fiercely. “That.”

He chuckles. “Yeah, that.”

I grin, heat melting through me.

“Um, yeah,” I breath, squeezing my legs tight together and shivering. “Very, very okay.”

I pause.

“Are… are you?”

He laughs quietly. “Baby, I’ve never been more okay. In fact, I never wanted you to leave at all. I want you, Waverly,” he growls, making me gasp as something wicked teases through me.

“I want you always actually,” he groans. “I’m fucking addicted to you.”

I whimper, the heat between my legs throbbing, and before I know it, I’ve opened my legs and let my hand slide down between them, over my soft cotton shorts. I tease myself through them for one second, and my breath catches.

“How bad?” I gasp. “How bad are you addicted to me?”

He groans, definitely hearing the breathiness in my voice. “Fuck, Waverly.”

“Tell me,” I gasp, teasing my pussy through the lounge shorts.

“It’s bad,” he grunts. “Really bad.”

I moan, and when I hear him groan, I know he’s doing the same as me.

“Are you…”

“Fuck yes,” he growls. “And I’m so fucking hard right now.”

“I’m so wet,” I gasp quietly.

He groans, grunting as he strokes his cock.

“Could you…” I bite my lip. “Do you think you could, like, sneak in?”

“To your house?” He chuckles. “I think that might be a terrible idea.”

“I know,” I gasp, still touching myself as I feel the heat melt through my core. “I just want you so bad right now.”

He growls, before suddenly, he pauses.

“I have an idea.”

He swears quietly, and I arch a brow.

“You okay?”

“Yeah, I’m just pretty sure I’m going to hell.”

I giggle.
