“Hmm?”

“This is why you smell like a fucking Creamsicle.” He wags the bottle of body wash in my periphery before pumping some onto a loofah. He gathers my hair, bringing it to one shoulder before he washes my back. When he’s done, he drops the loofah, using his bare hands on my skin. I moan, sagging against him even more. “That feels so good.”

His dick twitches against me, begging for attention as his hands curl around the curve of my ass, kneading. I’ve had four orgasms in the span of an hour, and he’s only had one. Dropping one hand between us, I wrap it around his length, slowly sliding up and down. He shudders, flexing into my grip, his palms slapping against the tiles behind me to steady himself.

I’ve never had the desire to get on my knees for any man, but right now, I want to make Holden feel as good as he makes me feel. I sink down to my knees, one hand braced on his thick, tattooed thigh, the other still wrapped around his cock. I look up at him, his palms flat against the wall, his head bent under the showerhead, blocking the water from hitting me. Rivulets of water stream down the side of his face, down his chest and the hard lines of his stomach. His wet hair hangs in front of his eyes, appearing almost black. I slide my hand up and down his length and his lips part, eyes falling shut.

When I lick up the underside of the head, his eyes shoot open. He looks down at me, watching with heavy-lidded eyes as I take him into my mouth. I barely get to taste him before he pulls away and grasps my chin with his fingers, his thumb tracing my lips. “As much as I want to see those lips wrapped around me, I know I’ll end up needing to fuck you again, and I think that pretty pussy of yours needs a break.”

The look on my face must say and that’s a problem because…? Holden smiles at me, his hands lifting me by my armpits. “Now who’s the perv?”

Valen

I quickly washed my hair and the rest of my body, wondering what Holden could possibly have to tell me and if it has anything to do with why he was at my door with a baseball bat. Now, he’s sitting on my bed after running across the hall to grab a pair of clean black sweatpants. I threw on a fitted, white long-sleeve top and blue and white striped sleep shorts. I walk over toward Holden, drying my hair off with a towel. He fingers the hem of my shorts before tugging me closer, looking up at me.

“First, I need you to know that you’re not in any danger.”

I tense, not expecting those words. They’re meant to reassure and comfort, but they do the opposite. “Okay.”

“I wasn’t the one who returned your earring.”

I narrow my eyes, once again not expecting the conversation to go in this direction. “So who did? Shayne said it wasn’t her.”

He shakes his head. “It was Samuel.”

“Samuel was in our dorm?” I back up, leaning my butt against the top of my desk. “In my room?”

He nods.

“Why? How did he know where I was? How did he even know it was mine?”

Holden works his jaw, anger filling his eyes. I can sense his hesitation, like there’s more he’s not saying.

“What else? I know there’s something else because this doesn’t make any sense.”

“He knew Thayer and me were in his office, so he checked his security cameras and saw us together.”

I lift a shoulder, shrugging. “So he knows we know each other now. Big deal.”

Holden stands, frustrated. “He knows you were distracting him for us. The earring was his way of taunting me. Letting me know how easily he could get to you and Shayne.”

How would he get into our dorm without us noticing? I only left it unlocked last night because I was half-asleep. Shayne has hammered the importance of locking our doors into my brain for as long as I’ve known her.

“Wait,” I say, grabbing my purse from my desk behind me as something suddenly occurs to me. I unzip it, dumping the contents onto the bed next to where Holden sits, rifling through it all just to be sure. “I couldn’t find my key card when I got home. I bumped into Ryan—”

“When?”

“Two nights ago. I was in a hurry to meet my dad for dinner, not watching where I was going. Ryan was coming in as I was leaving, we collided, I dropped my purse, and my stuff went everywhere. I thought I got everything, but when I came home, I could only find the key card for the building, not my dorm key. The door was unlocked, and my bedroom door was open. At first, I thought it was Shayne. Then, you.”
