He rubbed his thumb into his piss-slit roughly and shuddered as the urge to come swept over him. Quickly, he squeezed the base of his cock and bit his lip. Not yet. Fuck, it was too fucking amazing to be over so fast. When the impulse lessened, he caressed the dainty fabric over his abs, his thighs, then finally wrapped it around his erection.

He hissed at first contact.

Shit, was this why Tam wore them? Was he walking around getting flooded with pleasure every time his cock rubbed against the fabric? The idea almost killed Driver, it was so goddamn hot. His groan was louder this time and he didn’t care. At this point he wouldn’t care if the whole apartment complex woke up to the sounds of his orgasm.

He thrust his hips up so his cock slid through the tight tunnel of fists and lace. With his eyes closed he imagined Tam’s face, his large eyes hooded with an intoxicating mix of uncertainty and heat. Driver pictured Tam’s full mouth parted on a gasp like when they’d made eye contact during the dance. He remembered the feel of Tam’s amazing, muscular ass in his hands and fantasized how it would flex and stretch while Driver pounded into it. Then he indulged in the sweetest memory of all, the way Tam had leaned in for his kiss. God, Driver had wanted to taste those lips so much. He wanted to see how Tam would react when they finally made contact. Would he be wild? Would he be shy? Would the kiss be soft or desperate?

Fuck, he was driving himself crazy.

He loved kissing. Loved the sensuality of it. No matter who his partner was or what gender, there was always something vulnerable in the exchange. Two souls coming together, learning one another through the most basic form of touch. After a really good kiss he always felt so much more connected to his partner and he craved that connection, that closeness even if he wasn’t built to hold on to it.

It didn’t matter that every relationship he’d ever had lasted less than a week, the moment their lips touched there existed the potential for an eternity together. The absolute certainty that their spirits were twisting around one another and becoming one larger, stronger creation made his heart soar.

All of that would be true when he kissed Tam too, but there’d be more. More everything, but especially more vulnerability.

With that image in his mind, pleasure overwhelmed him. He arched, heels digging into the cushions, and shuddered through his climax. His come splattered on his chest in ropy white lines, and when it was over, Driver floated in a euphoric haze. Minutes later he was asleep, still naked, still sticky, and still clutching Tam’s underwear.

Chapter Eight

“Great class, Tam.” Danny waved as he exited the studio. Tam waved back.

“See you next week,” Jenn said.

“Rebecca, work on your balance with those exercises I showed you,” Tam said.

“You got it. Bye, Tam.”

When the classroom was empty, Tam shut the door and pulled off his practice pumps. As much as he loved teaching Heels class, sometimes it drained him having to deal with so many expectations. Except for when he danced, he was a wallflower. Teaching was totally new for him and he really had to push himself every day. The students were worth it though, they enjoyed his lessons and had come so far. Plus, after class he could wind down in a proper space with mirrors and decent speakers. Bonus. Since The Vibe closed, it was the only chance he got to dance all out and it was a catharsis he desperately needed daily.

Especially today. He was still recovering from the party last night and the mess of emotions he hadn’t been able to untangle. Sleep had been restless though he hadn’t had a nightmare, thank God. He felt jittery. His nerves were sharp like glass and he couldn’t get Driver’s lips out of his mind.

So, yeah, he needed the space and freedom to let loose today more than ever. And really, he shouldn’t complain. He had a job doing what he loved, no matter how challenging, which was more than he could say for anyone else he knew. Z waited tables to make rent and Ansel worked at a deli, not the most glamorous jobs.

Things could always be worse, and not long ago they had been for him. Much, much worse.

If it hadn’t been for the leniency of one judge, the determination of his case workers and the kindness of Georgia Hinley, he might have fallen back into old habits. He might have ended up back on the corner selling himself.

They’d shown him a different way and given him the chance to heal.

He crossed to the sound system in the corner and selected his newest playlist. This decompression time was the best part of his day. What could be better than an empty room, great tunes, and time to dance?
