I pushed forward slowly and… “Oh God. Sweet Jesus. You’re so hot. So tight. I used to hate sex talk, and now I can’t stop because oh my God, I might die…Gid…wow.”

He laughed, which made his body vibrate, shooting pleasure right toward my balls. “Holy fuck.” My eyes rolled back. I kept pushing in, savoring how his body took me until my groin met his ass. “I can’t move.”

“Eventually, you need to.”

“Can I just live here forever?”

“Not sure that’s realistic.”

“I thought I was supposed to be the serious one out of the two of us.”

Gideon pumped lube into his hand and began to stroke himself. “Fuck me.”

I wasn’t going to deny him that. I pulled back before snapping my hips forward over and over again. My body was buzzing, like I would explode, pleasure and happiness shooting around inside me. Every slide of our bodies made me feel like the luckiest man alive, like I had something no one else did, and it was glorious and perfect and really made me want to blow my load.

It was…strange and different, feeling myself inside someone, knowing I was in his body, but there was also nothing in the world like it. Gideon and I were a part of each other, connected intimately in a similar way to how I felt connected to him in my head, like this was just a thing that was always supposed to happen, an extension of the bond we shared.

“Gid…”

“I’m almost there, Lo. Fuck me harder. Make me come calling out your name.”

Um…yes, please. I grabbed his hips, slammed into him harder and quicker. “Oh God, yes!” Like my words hit some kind of magic button, Gideon’s ass tightened around me, spasmed while his breathing picked up the way it did when he came all over me.

“Milo…so good.” His back curled, his breathing sharp as I knew each contraction was him shooting onto his hand and the bed.

I had done that.

With my body.

Tingles shot up my spine as my balls let loose. I spurted, my orgasm overtaking me and making me fill the condom.

We collapsed to the bed then, me on Gideon’s back, and I knew he was lying in the mess. I rolled him over, leaned against his chest, letting his cum make us stick together. “Sex is the best thing I’ve ever experienced.”

He kissed the top of my head. “We’re good together.”

“We are.” I didn’t know what I would ever do if I lost Gideon’s friendship.

CHAPTER TWENTY

Gideon

Milo fucked me twice more over the next week, and both those times we fell asleep together in his bed. I didn’t really care where we had sex or where we passed out afterward, and since I knew he did, I just automatically went there. The thing was, those weren’t the only nights I slept with him. Another time we’d been in there talking, and then he’d just turned out the lights and we went to bed. Last night, after we played chess—something he was trying to teach me, but I was shit at—he’d stood and said, “I would like you to sleep in my room tonight, but I’m too tired for sex.” When I hadn’t replied right away because I’d been surprised, he’d revised it to, “l would like you to sleep in my room tonight, please.”

He hadn’t needed to attach the nicety on the end. I would have done it regardless. In fact, I wasn’t sure there was anything in the whole damn world I wouldn’t do for Milo, and that was…unexpected? Concerning? Fucking awesome? I hadn’t landed on the answer yet, just knew it was true.

I was meeting Kris for an early lunch today before I headed to the shop. My first tattoo appointment wasn’t until one.

When I got to the Lighthouse, my friend was already there, sitting in a booth. He waved me over, and I slid in across from him. “How’s life?” he asked.

“I can’t complain.” Don’t mind me, I’m just having an internal freak-out because I’ll do anything for Milo and I’m struggling to admit to myself what that means. “How’s Meg?”

“The morning sickness is killing her. I don’t know why in the fuck they even call it morning sickness when it can happen all day, which it’s starting to do for her. It breaks my heart to see her puking her guts up every day or being constantly nauseous.”

“Goddamn, that sucks. What does her doc say?” I took a drink from the glass of water set on the table in front of me.

“Some women just get hyperemesis, I guess. They said everything is okay with the baby. They might put her on this medication they say is safe during pregnancy. It’s just weird because at first it was only in the morning, but this past week it’s all day.” Kris rubbed a hand over his face in clear frustration and worry.
