He stands right behind me and grabs my bare hips with his strong hands. This really gets me wet.

I narrow my eyes at him through the mirror.

“What do you think you’re doing?” I ask him with the toothbrush in my mouth.

“I want to feel your pussy cumming on my cock,” he growls in a low gravelly voice.

“Again?” I ask, staring at him in disbelief.

He groans. “It’s been so long.”

“It’s been twenty minutes!”

“Exactly.”

I try not to laugh as I continue brushing my teeth. “Well, I’m busy now, so you’re just going to have to wait.”

“Fine.” He drops to his knees behind me and I whip my head around with a gasp.

“What are you doing???”

His big hands cup my ass cheeks and he lifts them and spreads them apart. “Waiting.”

Before I can answer, he dives in, licking and sucking from my clit that’s now throbbing all the way up to my asshole. This man is shameless. He’s insatiable. I think I’m in love.

The moans start flying out of me and I forget all about my dental hygiene. The toothbrush falls to the sink with a clatter as I press my ass against him, wanting more of his hot mouth on me.

After I cum once, he stands up and slides his cock inside, taking me doggystyle over the sink. I stare at him through the mirror while he thrusts in and out of me until we’re both screaming out.

Later, when we’re panting on the floor, I turn to him.

“I need some clothes.”

“No.”

I laugh. God, he can be so frustrating.

“So, I’m just going to be naked for the rest of my life?”

“Sounds good to me.”

“What about in winter?”

“I’ll keep you warm.”

My eyes narrow on him. “Ethan.”

His narrow back on me. “Chloe.”

“I need my clothes. And some of my things.”

I’m laughing, but he looks genuinely concerned.

“I don’t want you to leave. I don’t like you out there in the world.”

“Then come with me.”

“Oh, I’m coming with you,” he quickly says. “That’s for sure.”

I laugh again. He’s so possessive it borders on being barbaric.

“Come on,” I say as I get off the floor. “Let’s go to my place and get my stuff. Then we’ll go get some groceries and stop for lunch.”

He looks tense. Uneasy.

“What?” I ask him.

“There will be guys there.”

“So?”

“They’ll be looking at you.”

I laugh. Is this guy for real?

“Guys have looked at me before.”

A flash of anger crosses his face and I see his hand squeeze into a fist. I take his hand, open it up, and lace my fingers through his.

“It will be fine,” I tell him in a soft comforting voice. “If anyone looks at me for more than two seconds, you can growl at them. Okay?”

“More than one second.”

I smile. “Deal.”

“You play tennis?” Ethan asks when he spots my tennis racket in my closet.

“Once in a while,” I say as I pack my clothes into the open suitcase on my bed.

“At the tennis courts?”

“That’s usually where one plays tennis, yeah.”

“And there are guys there? Watching you?”

I grin as I shake my head. I didn’t realize how possessive bear shifters got when their mates were in public. I kinda like it. I’ve never had anyone looking out for me before and it feels nice.

“I play at an all women’s court,” I lie, just to make him feel better. It works. I smile when I see the look of relief on his face.

He continues snooping around my apartment and I grin as I watch him. I like having him in my place. He makes it look so tiny.

When I have everything I need, Ethan takes my suitcase and we head back downstairs. I don’t know when the next time I’ll be back will be, but something tells me there might be snow on the ground.

He puts the suitcase into the back of his pickup truck, lifting it as easily as if it were empty. I take one last look at my small apartment that I rent over the garage of my landlord’s house and smile. I’ve been here for two years and it was the only place that’s ever felt like home. Well, the only place since I’ve been staying at Ethan’s house. That feels like my real home now.

I glance across the street and notice a man sitting in a black car watching us. He quickly looks away when I make eye contact with him, and then starts his car and leaves.

Something doesn’t feel right about it and there’s an empty pit in my stomach as I watch him drive off.

The worrying feeling disappears as Ethan steps up behind me and wraps his big possessive arms around my shoulders. How can I be afraid of anything with this protective beast looking out for me?

“Ready for lunch?” I ask him. “I’m starving.”

“Are you sure you don’t want to do take-out and eat at home?”
