Something chases through her eyes before she clears it away and nods. “Yes. I’ve seen him. Why do you need to call him?”
I tilt her chin up and try not to feel something by the way she leans into me at the small touch. Her terry cloth covered chest against my bare one. “Because Kai can get me intel and supplies. Both of which we need right now. I’m not going after your father with no information and getting myself captured again. I’m going to take him down completely.
