I trembled at the first touch of his finger against my ass, pressing back against him as he slowly worked his lubed finger into my tight hole and getting me all slippery.

“I think I can take you this time.”

“Finally,” he groaned. “It feels as though I’ve been waiting forever to claim this part of your body like I already have the rest of you.”

I felt the heat from his body as his chest pressed against my back, and his hard length slipped between my butt cheeks and nudged my puckered opening. “Breathe in, baby.”

I took a deep breath, and it stuck in my lungs when he grabbed my hips and started to push inside my ass. I panted heavily as he slowly worked his way into my hole, surprised when the sting of his entry turned into pleasure after he made it past the tight ring.

“Oh, wow.”

“Yeah, wow is right. You’re so goddamn tight this way.”

He began to gently thrust in and out with shallow strokes, his balls slapping my ass with each drive. When he reached around my body and started to stroke my clit, I felt my climax starting to build. Quickly.

“Holy shit, I’m going to come!” My words were his undoing as he emptied inside of me. His orgasm lengthened mine, and I closed my eyes as my body shuddered in his arms.

“Holy fuck,” he breathed against the damp skin of my neck. “I didn’t think the sex could get any better, but knowing you love me. Shit. I can’t describe how much hotter it made things between us.”

My lids drifted open, and I smiled at him. “I guess that’s the difference between just having sex and making love.” Even when it was my ass he was taking.

He gently slid from my body and rolled us onto our sides. “We might not have said the words until today, but we’ve been making love to each other from almost the start. Sex was never just sex with you, Kinsley.”

I reached for his hand and placed it over my stomach. “It sure wasn’t. Our bodies knew better than our minds, apparently.”

“So much so that your birth control didn’t matter, and I knocked you up.”

I laughed softly at how proud he sounded. What a difference a couple hours made. All my worries about our marriage and the baby were a thing of the past, and we had a happy future to look forward to.

Epilogue

SULLIVAN

My chest puffed with pride, and I whistled as loud as possible as I watched my wife waddle across the stage to receive her diploma. Graham leaned on his cane next to me, and his face beamed almost as much as I’m sure mine did.

I was so fucking proud of my girl. Despite being pregnant, Kinsley had started back at school right after Christmas. She’d taken the summer off to have our daughter, Elsa, then finished her degree over the next two semesters.

Somewhere in there, I’d managed to knock her up again, and while it was a surprise, neither of us was disappointed. She was just grateful that at graduation, she still had a couple of months before our son, Foster, made his entrance into the world.

She’d also joined Bradford Enterprises, and together we’d opened a new, smaller division in the company. We decided to acquire an old, abandoned hotel. We were gutting the inside from the ground up and intended to turn it into another iconic New York destination. She’d let me take the reins in the beginning, but as her confidence grew, she stepped up and had taken on the lead role.

However, she’d insisted that I be more involved in the design and renovations because she wanted me to do what I loved. I was having more fun with the project than I’d expected, and it was amazing to work so closely with my wife. Lunches had certainly never been more delicious than when it was Kinsley spread out over my desk.

After the ceremony, we headed to a reception my mother had insisted on throwing in Kinsley’s honor. My parents were thrilled that she had become a part of their legacy, almost as much as they were by the grandbabies she was giving them.

“Kinsley!” my mother cried as she rushed over when we entered the opulent ballroom at the Four Seasons. “I’m so proud of you!”—she practically snatched Elsa from Kinsley’s arms—“Here, let me take this little angel so you can enjoy yourself.” Before we could say another word, my mother had whisked off with our daughter.

I laughed and decided to take advantage of the situation. “May I have this dance, Mrs. Bradford?” Kinsley’s clear blue eyes sparkled as she turned to face me.

She looked gorgeous in a blue silk gown that clung to her luscious curves. Made all the sexier by the bump that proved I’d staked my claim and knocked up my woman. It may have made me a caveman, but I couldn’t help it.
