“Wait. You want me to be the manager?” That grip on her waist tightened and she squeezed the back of Rez’s neck in excitement. “I figured you’d be managing the club.”

“Of course I’ll be the owner and overseeing everything, like Laura did with The Peach Pit, but you’d do the day-to-day managing with Raven assisting you and filling in when you’re not there. This way we can keep the club open seven days a week without any of us working more than five days in a row. We’d actually have a normal work schedule.”

“That’s fucking awesome.” Rez pressed his lips to her temple in a kiss.

Sapphire glanced at him. “Of course you’d think that.” He’d prefer she not strip.

“Well,” Mel started with a sly smile, “you can still dance on stage whenever you’d like. Or do private dances for extra cash. That decision would be no one’s but yours. You know you always draw a crowd.”

Suddenly more than his hard-on was stiff against her. “But as manager, she won’t need to do that,” Rez insisted.

“No. Only if she wants to. I’ve also been working on a business plan and I have so many ideas to make the most out of the club.”

“Like?” Rez asked.

“Bringing in The Peckers once a month.”

“Damn, Blaze, there you go,” Rez said on a laugh. “I know you miss strutting your stuff on stage.”

Mel continued, ignoring Rez, “We’ll also have theme nights. Maybe host some fun drag performances, have set nights during the month where local bands come in and use the stage to show off their talent. Bring in stand-up comedians and—”

“Karaoke nights!” Finn shouted.

Rez’s groan vibrated against her.

“The possibilities are endless,” Mel finished.

“Damn, you’ve been really working hard on that business plan, haven’t you?” Sapphire asked. “Can I make another suggestion?”

“I’m all ears. I’m willing to consider anything to make the club a success and to attract the right investors.”

“In the morning before the club opens to the public, offer pole dancing classes. If they want to get involved, it’ll give the girls an opportunity to make some extra cash. The classes could be for fitness or you could even offer beginner classes for anyone who wants to learn to actually strip. For work or play.” She winked at her friend.

“I love that idea!” Mel exclaimed. “And since Finn’s mom is a dance instructor, she could spread the word about the classes to her students’ parents.”

“Umm… Sure,” Finn muttered.

Rez’s laughter shook her. “Maybe your mom could teach, too, Heat Miser. Can’t you see her working the pole to stay limber?”

“I would poke my fucking eyes out if I ever saw that.” Finn shuddered.

Sapphire was thrilled that the plans were finally coming together. Not only for Mel’s future, but for her own. She couldn’t wait to work with her best friend again. They had always made a very cohesive and successful team.

Since Mel would have full control of her club and have Sapphire by her side, the woman would be unstoppable.

“I’m going to check with our brothers first to see if anyone is interested in making a little investment. The sooner we get some backers, the sooner we can do the renovation.” Finn added, “And hopefully start making money.”

“The sooner, the better for that, too. It’s been a rough few months since I was trying not to dip into the money I had put aside for this venture. If it wasn’t for Finn, I wouldn’t have been able to avoid it.” Mel planted a kiss on her man’s cheek. “This is all happening with your help.”

“Hey, I might want to buy in and own a piece of the pie, too,” Rez announced, surprising the hell out of Sapphire and causing her to whip her head around until they were practically nose to nose.

“You want to be an investor?” That came out more like a squeak than a question.

“Not just an investor but part owner.”

“If you do that, we’ll have to put off moving,” she informed him.

“Can you deal with living in my condo for a while longer? We need more space just for your collection of outfits alone.”

If it meant her working for Mel a lot sooner, absolutely. “We’ll continue to make do. We have plenty of time to find a bigger place.”

“Rez,” Mel began, “you’re willing to be a partner and not a temporary investor?”

Rez shrugged. “As part owner, won’t I get a percentage of the profits? As I see it, this club won’t only benefit Sapphire, but also me, if I invest.”

“How will it benefit you?” Finn asked.

“One, with long-term passive income. Two, with Sapphire working there she won’t need to get on stage like she does now. And three, I’ll feel so much fucking better with her working for Mel, and not some MC. It’ll cut my stress in half.”

“While the atmosphere is a lot better at Heaven’s Angels than The Pit, he still doesn’t like me working for an MC,” Sapphire explained. Not just an MC but he only tolerated her continuing to strip because he didn’t have a choice.
