“Hear that, brother,” Fletch said. “If you know anyone who can help me out of a jam, send them my way, would ya?”

Boz shrugged. “Sure. If I know where to find you.”

“Right here.” Fletch tapped his finger on the scarred and pitted table. “Plan on spendin’ some time down here ’til we find a regular connection since my old one’s spendin’ a ‘lil R and R in Fayette. Like I said, if I keep her happy, she keeps me happy.”

“I find someone to hook you up, I get a finder’s fee?”

“What kinda finder’s fee?”

“Said she can suck the ball off a hitch. Would like to test that claim.”

Shit. Fletch needed to avoid further talk about a finder’s fee. He was not offering up Nova’s mouth in exchange for info. He’d find it another way if he needed to.

“She’s real particular with what she likes.”

“You talkin’ dick or drugs?” Boz asked.

“Both.”

“What’re you lookin’ to score?”

“Cotton candy.” Fletch hoped like fuck the biker before him knew the slang for crystal meth.

He glanced over his shoulder toward the pool tables. “Damn. No wonder she’s so damn skinny. Even without any meat on her bones, she still looks damn good for an addict.”

Maybe Nova was skinny for this guy’s taste, but Fletch knew firsthand what was under her clothes. The woman was in fucking shape and not once had she held back on eating. She ate almost as much as he did.

“Never said she was addicted. She got an occasional sweet tooth, that’s all. Eatin’ cotton candy’s fun for her, fun for me, too. You got me?”

“Sure do, brother. About that finder’s fee…”

Fuck. “If she was just a side-piece, wouldn’t give two shits about sharin’ her, but she’s my ol’ lady, brother. Ain’t willin’ for you to bust a nut down her throat.”

Boz grinned and nodded. “Hear you on that. Wouldn’t want another man humpin’ my ol’ lady’s face, either. Maybe we can watch our women go at it instead.”

Fletch pulled on his chin, pretending to give serious consideration on that offer. “Now that I can live with. Nothin’ better than watchin’ two bitches eatin’ each other’s snatch. Fuck, that gets me goin’ just thinkin’ ‘bout it.” He grabbed his crotch and adjusted himself, even though his dick had gone into hiding with this conversation.

Boz’s grin stretched across his face. “Same here. I find a good source, I’ll send ‘em your way.”

“Appreciate it, brother. Just make sure it ain’t some undercover pig.”

Fletch didn’t like the way the man chuckled. “Any undercover pigs ‘round here tend to go missin’. Anyone I send your way’s gonna be legit.”

“Will hold you to that. Now,” Fletch stood, “need to fetch my ol’ lady. She’s spent enough time with other men tonight. Time to remind her who she belongs to.”

With an approving nod, Boz also rose to his feet and clasped hands with him again, but this time they bumped shoulders.

Yeah, he damn sure had enough of this shit for tonight. It was time to do what he said, fetch Nova and get them the fuck out of there while they could leave on a good note.

Because, sure as fuck, in a place named Hawg Wild it wouldn’t take much for shit to go sideways.

Chapter Seventeen

They stopped to fill their empty tanks on the way back to the apartment. While they ate in an isolated booth in the back corner of a twenty-four-hour diner, they discussed what each of them heard earlier at the bar.

They both agreed they should return to Hawg Wild since it seemed the easiest way to make contact with the Deadly Demons without raising red flags. Especially after Nova had scored info that the outlaw club did indeed use that bar as a regular hang-out. She also heard they were having a huge club party at their church in West Virginia and that was the reason none of them were there tonight.

That important tidbit made sense and also verified the intel Crew had provided about that bar.

As they swapped tales, he decided not to hold back on telling Nova how interested those bikers were in having their way with her. She needed to be aware of that danger—if she didn’t already know it—so she’d be prepared tomorrow night when they went back.

“Seems like we caught a lot of flies with your honey,” Fletch said after swallowing another mouthful of homemade chicken pot pie. His favorite kind with the pastry crust, not the Pennsylvania Dutch kind made with the noodles.

Nova’s face scrunched up. “Gross.”

“I’m just saying… You were the perfect bait. Two of those fuckers approached me solely because of you, not because they wanted to be besties. At least with me anyway, it was debatable even with you.”

“What did they want?”

He raised one eyebrow. “What do you think they wanted?”

“I know the shit they said to me, just wondering if the shit they said to you was similar.”
