“You just want to watch women shaking their tits and ass,” Nox called him out.

“Damn right! And on the feds’ dime, too. Do you blame me?”

Decker raised his hand and bounced in his seat. “Oh, pick me. I want in, too.”

“What about Val?” Crew frowned. “Your mom won’t mind babysitting longer than normal? We might be talking some late nights here.”

Decker had been raising his four-year-old niece since not long after she was born. Ever since he took Valerie from his drug-addicted sister. But he had no help except for his elderly mother. Since she wasn’t in the greatest health, she could only deal with the active little girl for a limited amount of hours a day.

“If she can’t do it, I’ll find someone else to help out.”

“You should just hire a full-time nanny,” Nox told Decker. “Stop being such a cheap ass and putting your poor mom to work.”

“She loves spending time with Val,” Decker exclaimed.

“Yeah, as a grandmother, not a substitute mom.”

Crew cut in on Decker and Nox’s conversation. “Let’s get back on track. Talking about nieces and nannies aren’t it.”

“Yeah, let’s,” Finn cut in, “since I’m not liking this whole idea. How the hell am I getting in the door if they only have women working the poles?”

“Did you miss the part where I said we’ll be using an all-male revue as cover?”

Finn needed more details than what the man was giving. “But are we creating one?”

Crew shook his head. “Not needed. Got a buddy whose brother runs a group that tours. They book at bars, strip clubs, parties, wherever, for one- or even two-night performances. I already checked with him and he’s on board. Especially after my buddy showed him your pic, Finn. He’s down a guy due to an ACL tear, so he needs you to fill in. He said if you like it and you can dance well, then he might even be interested in hiring you full-time.”

Decker snorted next to him. “Something to fall back on if this cop gig of yours goes belly up.”

“Get the fuck out of here,” Finn muttered, dropping his head and shaking it.

“It’s the perfect cover to get behind the scenes and only Nick will know you’re undercover. No one at the club will or any of his dancers. Since your mom still has her studio, you can use it to get limber and practice some signature moves. In the meantime, I’ll make contact with Nick, the owner/manager, and have him reach out to The Peach Pit and offer their services. Their male entertainers usually make a fuckload of cash and so does the venue. Because of that, I can’t imagine whoever’s running The Peach Pit will turn them down. The Demons seem to be all about raking in the green.”

“You’re going to have to shave your body,” Decker warned him with a smirk.

At the other end of the table, Rez snorted. “He probably waxes. Do you think he’s naturally hairless like a naked mole-rat?”

“I think mole-rats might have a few stray hairs,” Decker claimed.

Finn didn’t even know what a naked mole-rat looked like. He didn’t want to, either.

“So does Finn, around his asshole. Unless he gets that waxed, too. Do you?”

“How the fuck would you know what my asshole looks like?” Finn asked Rez. “Anyway, I don’t fucking wax.”

Decker coughed out a, “Bullshit.”

Finn surged from his chair and reached for his belt. “Do you want me to prove it to you?”

A bunch of shouts rose around the table. “No!”

“Fuck no!”

“Sit down.”

“We don’t want to see that ginger-rimmed hole.”

Crew’s next words got caught up with his laughter. “All right. So, that’s solved.”

“No, it’s not,” Finn insisted.

“It is. I’ll make contact with Nick and let him know you’ll be his newest stripper. I’ll let you know where and when to meet up with him so he can teach you their routines. Think up a good fake name in the meantime.”

Jesus. “I’m only doing this once, right? If so, I don’t need to learn any fucking routine.”

“You need to make sure you blend in with the rest of the guys. I think they all do some group dances in addition to their individual routines.”

“Sounds like you went to watch them, Crew,” Mullins said with a laugh. “Did you take a wad of ones with you? Play a little dollar bill hide-and-seek with those swinging banana hammocks?”

“I watched a couple of their videos on the Peckers website,” Crew confessed with a shrug. “For investigative purposes, of course.”

“Peckers?” Finn’s voice cracked again. He had to clear his throat to bring it back down an octave. “You said Peckers?”

“That’s the name. Well, officially it’s Peckers All-Male Revue.”

“Finn’s going to be a Pecker!” burst from Decker as he slammed his hand on the table and laughed so hard he fell forward, almost cracking his forehead on the conference table.
