But in the end, Decker didn’t care what Wolf called him since he had a prime seat on the karma bus called the Tri-State Federal Drug Task Force.

And hopefully sooner than later, that bus was going to plow Wolf over at full speed. And Decker hoped to be the one with his foot on the accelerator.

Chapter Twenty-Three

“They got a fuckin’ safe in a locked and reinforced room back in the new addition. It’s one of those massive Liberty Fatboy safes and that motherfucker’s not only stuffed full of ice but cold, hard cash, Crew. I also spotted quite a few weapons in there. Shotguns, rifles, handguns, you name it. I had to fight to keep the surprise from my face. I expected small quantities of drugs and cash, but not the amount I saw.”

Decker was actually more surprised when Wolf allowed him to go into the room with him.

“Actually, not a fucking surprise since that’s the central location to supply all the businesses the Demons own in that area. The stash of weapons is a bit disconcerting but not unexpected. You get any photos?”

Decker snorted. “Yeah, right. ‘Hey, Wolf, want to pose with the evidence that will end up being your demise? Say fucking cheese!’”

“Hey, even Mel attempted to sneak some photos, asshole.”

“Those photos were all shit, if you’ve forgotten. She got an A for effort but that’s all she got.”

“She got Finn, too,” Crew reminded him. “The biggest booby prize of all.”

“Damn, man, your jealousy is sure shining through lately.”

“Jealousy. Right. Last thing I need is a woman permanently in my life, besides the one I, unfortunately, have to deal with already. I’m perfectly fine no longer wearing a pinch collar around my dick.”

“Is that a new fetish I don’t know about?” Decker asked.

“Where are you at now?” came through the cell phone’s speaker.

Decker grinned at the task force leader’s deflection. “On my way home. Picked up the supply and, once I was far from their church, I took a fuckload of pictures of it for your needed PC, then dropped the delivery off with Buster at Pizza Town like the good little prospect bitch I am.”

Crew chuckled. “Did they pat you on the head, tell you you’re a good boy and feed you a treat?”

“If only…”

“How much did you deliver?”

Decker’s grip tightened on the steering wheel. “A goddamn variety pack of individually packaged product ready for sale. All in all, I estimate it to have been at least two pounds worth.”

Crew’s low whistle filled the Ford truck. “Did you happen to see where they store it at Pizza Town?”

“Nope. The second I stepped through the rear employee door, Buster grabbed it from me and told me to get the fuck out. So, that’s what I did. I’ll snoop around when I get a chance. There’s no way for me to do all those special pizza deliveries and not see where he’s pulling the product from. It’ll happen, I just need patience, I guess.”

“Do what you can. This way when all the shit goes down, the team will know exactly where to find the supply.”

Decker turned the borrowed Ford Ranger into his neighborhood. “Where the fuck are they breaking down the kilos, though? They have to be doing it at a central location and then distributing it from there to Uniontown and New Philadelphia chapters. Do you think they’re doing it in Moundsville?”

“If not there, my guess would be somewhere in West Virginia that’s close to the mother chapter. But unless it’s happening in our area, we’ll leave that to group one to worry about. I don’t want to step on any other group’s toes. We need to focus on what we were tasked to do and unless they reach out to us for specific help, right now all we’re doing is sharing info. That’s it. I run our group how I see fit, they do the same.”

“I hear that.” Decker sighed, ready for this day to be over. He only hoped he got home before Val fell asleep. “So, you should now have enough PC to get that affy signed once I get those photos to you.”

“I sure as fuck hope so. Also, make sure to detail everything you saw and did in regards to that delivery in your statement, too. It needs to be clear and concise and don’t forget to include a tube of lube to help ease the judge into seeing what a great idea it is to have that clubhouse wired.”

“You got it. I’ll work on that statement tomorrow morning before I have to head to Pizza Town for another evening of fucking fun.” And another missed dinner with his Valee Girl. “By the way, I ran into Fletch and Wilder at the Uniontown clubhouse tonight. Surprised the shit out of me.”

“Yeah, I heard. Fletch called me earlier to give me the lowdown.”
