My hand grabs my dick. One stroke, two, three, and I fucking explode.

The first blast hits her in the face, but she’s quick, wrapping her mouth around me, drinking up the rest, shoving me down her throat, deeper and deeper. The sucking sensation massaging me so much that I can’t stop depositing my cream. I can’t get over the way she takes it; gulp after gulp, swallowing like a champ, the pull of her throat encouraging my flow.

I pass by Luci’s Dad’s hardware store on my way home from school, and at the next light I find myself turning around until I’m pulling into the parking lot and heading inside.

There’s a young kid bagging items by the register, and I immediately spot Mr. Cunningham fumbling with a price checker on the other side.

“Mr. Cunningham?” I clear my throat and he turns around.

“Mr. Harrington.” He stops what he’s doing and places both hands on the counter. “You’ve been a hot topic at my house.”

“Please, call me Josh,” I offer my hand and he accepts it.

“You’re the one with the wife and kid, right?” He’s not being cold, but he’s not exactly being friendly either.

“I had a wife,” I explain. “I never had a kid.”

“That’s what my daughter tells me,” he replies. “The one you were kissing, not the one you’re currently teaching.”

I laugh at his clarification.

“What can I do for you?”

“Look,” I sigh. “I really like Luci, and I don’t want to start off on the wrong foot.”

“I understand,” he nods. “But she’s is my kid.”

“I would never do anything to hurt her,” I barely get the words out, because I know I have before, and it pains me.

Mr. Cunningham gives me a look before exhaling.

“I’ll call her Mom,” he says. “We’ll have dinner. Tonight. She’s a lot harder to convince than me, and I suggest you work on your argument.”

“Thank you,” I nod.

“We eat late,” he says. “Once the store closes, at around 8:30.” He starts writing the address on a piece of paper, and I don’t dare stop him to let him know I already know where it is.

I thank him again, and just as I turn to leave he stops me.

“My wife likes white roses.”

I smile, knowing exactly where my next stop will be.

Chapter 21

-Luci-

After school, I head home with Gracie for the first time in forever, storming up to my room and crashing on my bed. My bed, a place that was once my sanctuary. It feels so foreign and uncomfortable now, not nearly as inviting and wonderful as his is.

I toss and turn until I eventually fall asleep.

I wake when hearing a knock on my door.

“Yeah?” I rub my eyes as the hall’s light shines in. Gracie tiptoes inside, lightly shutting the door behind her.

“Do you know that Mr. Harrington is downstairs?” She whispers.

“What?” I shriek.

“Shh!” She quiets me before issuing a warning. “They’re in the great room.”

“When did he get here?”

“Like half an hour ago. I was told not to wake you,” she explains. “I finally said I was cold, so I came up to grab a sweater.”

“Oh my God,” I stand, flicking on the lamp. I don’t know what to do first - change, grab a hairbrush, or put on makeup.

“He bought Mom white roses,” she smiles. “Great job telling him to do that.”

“I didn’t,” I shake my head, confused.

“That’s weird,” she makes a face.

“He got us each a bouquet of pink ones too,” she laughs. “He’s trying so hard.”

“Ugh! I have to get dressed!” I panic. “Help me!”

“No!” She jumps, her voice low. “You can’t! Then they’ll know I came here. You have to go down just like that.”

“No way!” I tell her, and she gives me a pleading look.

“I’ve done so much hiding for the both of you,” she threatens. “Don’t rat me out. I’m already in enough trouble as is.”

I groan, knowing I owe this to her.

“Wait five minutes and then come down,” she commands. “And if you so much as brush your hair I will be mad at you for forever!”

Dinner is going surprisingly well, despite my horribly embarrassing appearance. Overall, my parents are being pleasant, and the conversation is flowing smoothly.

“Is this weird for you?” Mom asks Gracie. “Having dinner with your teacher?”

“No,” she shakes her head. “Not at all.”

“This isn’t going to affect her grade or anything, will it?” Mom asks, and I roll my eyes.

Josh shakes his head no, just as Dad interjects.

“How handy are you?”

“Dad!” I groan, and Gracie laughs.

“Very, actually,” Josh wipes his mouth with a napkin. “I renovated my entire apartment on my own, down to the studs.”

“You did?” I ask, shocked.

“That’s good,” Dad takes a bite of his food. “Very good.”

“I won’t be shocked that you’ve been there,” Mom holds her hands up. “I suppose we’ve all agreed that that’s where you’ve been spending your time. Sleeping there.”
