The twins are tall and dark like their younger brother, but they’re even taller and brawnier than their well-built brother. Gabe has thick dark hair and intense brownish-black eyes. His full beard is a little scruffier than his younger brother’s.

“Nice to meet you.”

I smile at them and hear my mate growl under his breath, “All your smiles belong to me.”

“Take a chill pill, Lucky Bear, or I’m going to start calling you Grouchy Bear again.” I glance over at Clay and watch as he absorbs my mental message.

A freaking gorgeous, insanely tall blonde walks over and smiles at me. “Since my rude cousin isn’t going to introduce me, I’ll do it myself. I’m Gianna.”

As she stares down at me with amusement dancing in her dark eyes, I realize we’re going to be great friends. “So nice to meet you.”

I help Aunt Tilly and Gianna with dinner while Dillon and Clay talk about work.

After dinner, Aunt Tilly hands out honey buns to everyone. “These are fucking good,” Gabe groans. “I’m stealing your mate so I can get them every day.”

“I’ll fight you for her.” Dillon stuffs a second honey bun into his mouth. “I’ve never tasted anything better than this.”

When Aunt Tilly huffs and mumbles under her breath about ungrateful children, Dillon quickly glances over at his mother and backtracks. “I mean, except for your delicious meals.”

“Nice save, dumbass.” Grant laughs.

“I think Clay and Bethany should move to Glacier Pass,” Gianna cuts in. “Bethany can open up a bakery next to my coffee shop, and Clay can do his computer work from anywhere.” She shrugs like it’s no big deal to move halfway across the country.

“Then we can have honey buns every day.”

Deep inside me, I realize her suggestion is appealing. My sisters and I are close, but now they both have mates that occupy most of their time. The new bakery staff is running Honey Buns for us, and another location sounds exciting.

“I like the way you think, squirt,” Gabe teases, and Gianna throws a napkin at him.

Her dark eyes glow as she hisses, “Don’t freaking call me that.”

Their argument evolves to include the entire family.

As I watch the Bearly family give each other hell, my heart melts. This is where I’m meant to be. My Lucky Bear really has given me the world.

We end up staying in Glacier Pass for three months while Clay helps Dillon figure out his security problem. Over the last few months, I’ve been slowly falling in love with the small town and my mate’s extended family. While I miss both my sisters, I video chat with them every day.

Gianna and I grow close, and she stops by every day on her way home from Rise & Grind, the coffee shop she owns in Glacier Pass, to check on me and keep me company.

I’m slowly trying to talk my mate into Gianna’s crazy idea. The thought of leaving the small town makes my heart hurt. After getting a few quotes on creating a small bakery out of the empty store next to Rise & Grind, I talked to Mabel and Cora about the possibility of opening a second location in Glacier Pass.

When Clay figures out that his cousin’s long-time secretary, a bear shifter Dillon has been friends with since childhood, is selling Bearly Icy Snow Removal’s bids to finance her gambling habit, I realize my time is running out.

Dillon has a hard time firing his friend, but the Bearly family comes together and helps the youngest member deal with the problem. That's when Clay starts making plans for us to return to Honey Pot Hollow.

Later that night, we’re sitting on the sofa watching a movie when I get up the nerve to come right out and tell my mate the truth. “I don’t want to leave.” I know he’s close to his family, but this small town and Clay’s extended family stole my heart the first day we arrived.

“What do you mean?” Clay leans back and stares down into my eyes.

“I love it here. Gianna has become one of my best friends, and I want to stay in Glacier Pass.” Before my shocked mate is able to get a word in edgewise, I babble on. “I want to open a Honey Buns location in the shop next to Rise & Grind. We could pool our advertising together and help both stores grow. Please?” When I run out of steam, I lean back and wait for Clay’s answer.

“Why didn’t you tell me all this before?” He leans over and kisses my lips.

“I know how much your family means to you.” I shrug, feeling silly as my eyes fill with tears. Pregnancy hormones are no joke. I alternate between feeling hot and bothered and being ready to jump my mate to heaving my guts up and wanting to kick his ass.
