"Yours," she affirms as fireworks blast behind my closed eyelids, and our life forces bond for all eternity.

“I love you,” I growl against her soft skin before running my tongue over the tiny mark on her neck. The earth shifts under us as we become one, and as my cock empties deep inside her, I hope my seed takes root.

“I love you, too.” Emilia sighs, and my world becomes perfect in that instant.

I awaken to find Emilia nestled close, her breathing steady and peaceful as she sleeps beside me.

My inner polar bear rumbles with deep contentment, a sense of rightness settling over every part of my being.

Emilia is here, and everything about her calms the restless nature that has accompanied me my whole life. Last night, we became eternal soulmates, in every sense of the word. My mark on her neck is a testament to the bond between us.

With a gentle touch so as not to disturb her, I trace the mark, feeling a surge of possessive pride. My bear is finally at peace, no longer pacing with impatience and yearning.

Emilia stirs slightly, and I watch as she turns toward me, her lips curving into a soft, sleepy smile. Her eyes remain closed, her trust in me palpable even in slumber. I can’t help but be captivated by her, the vulnerability she offers so freely, the reciprocation of the bond that means more to me than words could convey.

Gently, I begin to kiss my way down her body, starting from the mate mark. I take my time, savoring every moment, pleased by every soft intake of her breath that tells me she’s feeling as deeply as I am.

My lips travel lower, across the gentle curve of her shoulder, down her arm, over the delicate skin that covers her graceful form. She murmurs something unintelligible, a sleepy acknowledgment of my presence, and instinctively curls closer, one hand sliding into my hair.

“Good morning,” I murmur, the words a soft breath against her skin.

Her eyes flutter open, meeting mine with a warmth that reflects the morning light. “Good morning,” she sleepily murmurs.

“How did you sleep, little goddess?” I shift slightly so I can see her face more clearly, reading the satisfaction there mirrored in my own heart.

“I did,” Emilia answers, a hint of blissful awe in her gaze as she stares into my eyes. “Though waking up to this isn’t bad either.”

“Let’s see if we can make it even better.” I wink before continuing my trek down her body.

“Let’s…” She wiggles closer to me as I spread her pink pussy lips and slide my tongue through her wetness. Her taste flows through me as I lose myself in her sweetness.

Chapter 10

EMILIA

The bright morning sun pours through the office windows, creating a warm, golden glow.

As I settle into my comfy desk chair, focusing on the day's tasks, I can't help but feel a soft hum of contentment in my chest. Dillon stole my heart, and this place has truly become my home all in the space of a few days.

I’m midway through sorting out the work schedules when I hear a car pull into the driveway. It doesn’t worry me at all. Since my new mate goes overboard on his security, I know it must be someone who has access.

Lifting my head, I'm met with the effervescent smile of Gianna, Dillon’s sister. She brings a whirlwind of energy wherever she goes, and today is no different.

"Hey, Emilia!" she chirps, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Busy?"

"Not too busy for you, Gianna," I reply, standing up to greet her. Her excitement is contagious, and I find myself grinning in response. "What's up?"

"I’ve brought reinforcements! Or should I say, the welcoming committee? My mom, Bethany, and I all wanted to come and welcome you to the Bearly clan." She steps aside, revealing two figures behind her—a tall, gorgeous woman with long, straight blonde hair and striking dark eyes and a shorter, glowing, pregnant woman with long, curly red hair.

"Emilia, it’s so lovely to finally meet you.” The blonde smiles at me, and I blink several times, wondering how this stunning, young-looking woman could possibly be Dillon’s mother.

"It’s wonderful to meet you too, Mrs. Bearly!” I extend my hand, but she ignores it and pulls me close for a hug.

“Call me Tilly, please,” she insists, a smile lighting up her face. "Dillon forbade any of us from coming over and bugging you or I would’ve come by before now." She steps back a little and gushes, “You’re so gorgeous. I can see how you stole my youngest son’s heart.”

A blush creeps up my cheeks at her words. “Oh, wow. Thank you.”

Bethany steps forward next, carefully cradling her baby bump. She’s glowing, her eyes sparkling with an almost ethereal light. “Hi, Emilia," she says warmly. "I’m Bethany. It’s great to finally meet you.”
