“Too hot?” Davis asked in concern.

“No,” she answered, shaking her head. “Do it again.”

His grin made Maya lean closer to Deke. This is so hot!

Davis demonstrated a few techniques and suggestions before asking if anyone had questions.

“Can we try it now?” Maya blurted.

“It’s always the quiet ones,” Davis teased. “Yes. Apply the lotion to your partner’s arm. That will help the wax peel off easier and lower the feel of the heat. Start slowly.”

Suddenly, her world narrowed down to her and Deke as he smoothed his hands over her skin. Interrupting him, Maya scrambled onto his lap, needing more contact with him. Her Daddy didn’t ask any questions but wrapped his arms around her as he leaned slightly to the side to see clearly.

Lifting the candle high to lower the heat for her first experience as Davis recommended, Deke tilted the candle over her arm in a series of three small droplets. They seemed to drop in slow motion onto her skin. As each one landed, Maya clenched her thighs together as her body reacted to the small taste of discomfort.

“Good, Maya?” he double-checked with her.

“Do a line, Daddy,” she urged.

“Like this?”

Her hiss of excitement made him pause. “Too much, Little girl?”

“Do it again,” Maya begged. She wanted to feel that prickle on her skin, the warmth, and the visual image of the liquid wax again.

“Imagine yourself naked on our kitchen table as I drizzle this over you,” Deke whispered into her ear.

“On the kitchen table?” Maya repeated.

“Naked,” Deke reminded her. “I should get more of Milo’s rope. I could tie each one of your limbs to a table leg. Think of that as I do this.”

She watched him slowly tilt the candle to trail a thin stream of wax in a circle. The sensations exploded in her brain as she realized what he would draw around with that shape. She couldn’t help the erotic shiver that ran through her body. “Daddy!” she whispered.

“I know. We are so ordering supplies tonight.”

“Any questions?”

They both looked up to meet Davis’s knowing gaze. Maya shook her head quickly.

“I think you’ve got it under control, Deke. Feel free to call with questions.”

“Thanks, Davis,” Maya’s Daddy answered before focusing back on her.

Neither one of them knew when he stepped away. They were too wrapped up in each other. Before they knew it, Davis called that their time was drawing to a close. Deke peeled the wax from her arm and soothed some cream over any red spots as he rocked her slowly in his arms.

“I think we need to get some sugar in you, Maya. You’re a bit shaky after that,” Deke suggested.

She nodded, aware that her Daddy knew her aftercare needs better than she did herself. “Do we have any Malted Milk cupcakes left in the freezer?”

“I’m afraid not, Precious Girl. We’ll find something else almost as yummy, I promise.”

“Nothing else is as yummy as Malted Milk, Daddy.”

He kissed her temple before distracting her. “Would you help Daddy gather the plastic sheet with all the wax inside?”

“Of course!” Maya carefully folded up the corners as Deke made sure the candle had cooled completely.

“Is it time to go home?” she asked a few minutes later after they stopped at the trashcan to dump off the remains of their fun class.

“I think there’s one more stop for the Little girls. Do you have enough energy to stop at the daycare?”

“Of course. Then, something sweet,” she reminded him.

“I won’t forget,” Deke promised.

Chapter Seven

Ellie leaned on the short wall that surrounded the daycare. “I can’t wait until they get here,” she told Daisy next to her. She was so glad her friend had finally gotten free from work.

“Think they’ll be surprised?” Daisy asked.

“Oh, yeah. How we all kept quiet, I’ll never know.”

“I can’t believe you made everyone’s favorite cupcakes,” Sue said. “That was such a big job!”

“It was fun. Keeping everyone from finding out was hard. I thought Aria saw the Mocha Latte ones when she came yesterday. I had to tell her it was for a wedding—two coffee addicts that met at CC’s Purrfect Coffee.”

“Good way to think on your feet. I have seen a couple of people meet at the café and start dating,” CC shared.

“Ooh! There’s the time’s up sound. They’ll come around the corner in just a minute,” Lark cheered.

They heard them first; the six newest members of Blaze and their sweet group of Littles. This would be the first time everyone had gathered as a complete group of Littles. Ellie started waving as Jordi came into sight.

“Ellie?” Jordi called, before looking over her shoulder at the couples who followed her. “Guys, it’s everyone.”

“Everyone?” Nora echoed and then stopped in her tracks as she focused on all the faces in front of her.

“Wow!” Nicoya cheered and ran forward.

“No way,” Gemma commented as she came into view.
