Meanwhile, he continued devouring me like he was starving. His tongue moved sensually over my own until I was groaning in pleasure. I couldn’t take much more. I was desperate for Griff to hurry up and push inside me.

“Griff, please...” I begged.

The tension between us was climbing and climbing. Griff didn’t seem like he could handle much more, so I reached between us and began to unbutton his shirt, desperate to place my hands on his chest one last time. Seeing me taking imitative ignited something in Griff’s eyes and he growled. He grabbed my hands and pinned them in one of his own big ones above my head. With his other hand, he reached for the zipper of his slacks and pulled it down along with his underwear until his cock sprang free.

His mouth traveled down my jaw toward my neck and I gasped in pleasure. He licked and sucked at the most sensitive places of my shoulder and collarbone until I was soaking wet with desire. Meanwhile, his head gripped his length and he began to stroke it, readying himself to fuck me.

When he finally pushed his dick inside me, I could hardly contain myself. I wasn’t sure if it was the alcohol or the fact that I believed this was the very last time we’d be together, but every touch felt more intense and pleasurable than the last. His hand tightened around my wrists where he held me down and I felt a thrill run through my entire body at being so totally dominated by this sexy, handsome man.

The ease that he held my body up against the wall and fucked me so hard and fast made me feel dizzy. I was sure that I wouldn’t be able to walk properly once he set me down, my legs were trembling as he pleasured me over and over again.

“More, please, more,” I asked him with my eyes shut tight in ecstasy.

“I’ll give you more,” he promised before gripping my hip tight with his free hand and beginning to ram into my body even harder than before.

I screamed. It felt so incredible and Griff was reaching depths inside me I hadn’t even known were possible. I wrapped my legs tighter around him and drew his hips closer to mine. I never wanted to let him go, even though I knew I had to.

Sooner than I’d wanted, the two of us were reaching the climax of our love making and it was most satisfying sex I’d ever had. It was rushed and heated and passionate and everything I’d wanted. I didn’t want to admit it, but it really was the perfect way to say goodbye.

The next day at the office, I did my best to avoid Griff. I busied myself in the copy room, scanning documents that weren’t due to be completed for weeks yet, but it meant I had an excuse to be away from my desk. I knew it was inevitable that I’d see him eventually. After all, his conference call with Kelly and Isaac was scheduled for three in the afternoon and Griff had insisted both me and the ring be present.

Which brought me to my other reason to hide away in the copy room: the ring. Since the engagement wasn’t real, I wanted as few people to know about it as possible. If I was sat in my usual place, people would be coming over to me constantly asking about Griff’s schedule, asking for more stationery, or inviting me out for lunch. Griff had insisted I didn’t take the ring off, so that gave me no choice. I just had to hide.

It was all going well until my phone buzzed. I’d set a five-minute reminder before the call was due to start and as I took my phone from my pocket, I sighed. It was time to face the music and I couldn’t feel less prepared.

Come on, Remy, you can do this, I told myself with a confident nod before tidying my work away and stepping out of the copy room. I kept my head down as I made my way to Griff’s office and knocked when I arrived.

“Ahh, that should be her now,” Griff said behind the door. “Come in, Remy!” he called.

I turned the handle and entered after taking a deep, steadying breath. When I looked up, I saw that Griff was sat on the wrong side of his desk with the laptop already open and ready. Kelly and Isaac were already present on the screen and my eyes widened.

“Sorry I’m late,” I said as Griff patted the chair next to him.

“No, you’re not late, we’re just early,” Isaac explained with a kind smile.

I approached the desk and took a seat in front of the webcam with a forced smile. “Good afternoon, Kelly, Isaac,” I greeted politely.
