“Oh, fuck. Yes, Mark. That’s good. Right there. Yeah, do it like that. Come with me. Please.”

The please gets to me, and I thrust my dick deep. Over and over and over again until she’s coming apart, leaking all over my cock and down onto my office floor.

“Kenna,” I growl because I’m close, so fucking close.

I lean forward and capture her lips, letting her legs stay on my shoulders as I sink just a little deeper.

“Oh, God!” Her body starts to twitch, her limbs jerk, and then she’s like a fucking statue frozen in space before pleasure floods her body, and she’s convulsing underneath me, milking my cock until we’re both spent.

Totally fucking spent. My breaths come out in harsh, choppy pants, the same sound echoing in my ear from McKenna. My cock jerks with every quiver of her cunt. Every aftershock steals a little more of my soul.

“Oh, fuck,” I whisper as the last of my orgasm leaves my body.

“Good Lord, that was good. Really fucking good.” She drops against the desk with a loud thud. “That was…yeah, I’m going to need more of that. Lots more.”

I couldn’t fucking agree more.

Chapter Seventeen

McKenna

My legs tremble like a baby calf when I hop off Ace’s bike, or maybe it’s not his bike because it isn’t the big black and chrome monstrosity he drove when we left Club Dynasty. This bike is sporty and electric green, and I can’t be sure if it’s the massive vibrations or Ace’s dick that makes me unsteady on my feet. “Whoa. That’s extreme.”

His lips spread into a grin. “Just taking her on a test drive.” He shakes his head and spares one final look at the bike before his gaze lands on mine. “You gonna be all right?”

“You mean because you sexed me until I can’t walk?”

His lips twitch, and he nods. “Yeah, that. And the booze.”

I shrug at his words. “I must admit, you’re better than a shot of fireball. Just don’t tell Willow I said so.”

“My lips are sealed,” he promises, again wearing that same teasing smile that makes me feel as if we’re sharing some kind of inside joke.

“You’ll be careful? Safe? Won’t go out alone?”

I nod, biting the inside of my jaw to avoid smiling because Mark is clearly worried about me. Even though the stuff that went down with Grace is too terrible to even think about, his behavior is sweet.

I don’t dare tell him that, though, because he isn’t the kind of man who would appreciate that particular compliment.

“I’ll be careful, I promise. But I’m also not going to hide in the house and jump every time the doorbell rings.”

“They don’t ring the bell,” he mutters under his breath. “When you go out, make sure you’re careful. If you think a car is following you for too long, or someone runs up on your ass end, don’t stop. Call me and come straight to the clubhouse. Or even call Coop. Got it?”

“I got it,” I tell him honestly. I may be glib about his overprotective tips, but I am also worried as hell that Grace’s killers might come after me.

“And pay attention to your surroundings.”

“I will.” I can’t help the smile that splits my face at how cute he is, worrying about me. “Mark, I don’t have a death wish, I swear. Tonight was…”

I bite my lip and look up at the night sky, glittering with far-away stars.

“It was equal parts defiance and soothing the dent you put in my ego.”

He nods and scans the street, which is mostly empty of cars, his gaze steadfastly avoiding mine until it isn’t. “We’ve cleared that up?”

I nod. “Yes. We have.”

“All right. I’ll see you soon, McKenna.”

I smile at the way he so easily flips into serious and formal mode. I’m pretty sure it’s a defensive gesture because he does actually care about me. Maybe not the way I’m starting to care about him, but with so few people who care, it’s nice.

“You know, Mark, you can call me Kenna. Most people do.”

He leans in so close that if it wasn’t so dark out, I could probably see all the shades of brown dancing in his eyes.

“Everyone calls me Ace. Except you.”

“I can call you Ace if you prefer?”

He seems like a Mark. It’s a good name, strong and masculine, just like the man himself.

“Nah, I like the sound of my real name on your lips. Not as much as I enjoyed your lips on my cock, but a close second.”

Heat suffuses my neck and face at his dirty words. “Mark,” I groan and let my head fall against his chest. “You’re so dirty.”

“You love it, Princess.” He winks and takes a step back. “If you need help, McKenna, call me. Don’t hesitate. Yeah?”

“Yeah,” I agree and take a step back because I need space from his overwhelming presence and how he makes me feel. Sex with him is too potent, too powerful for me to think straight, and when it comes to this man, I need to keep my wits about me. I need to think clearly.
