Hutch planted a long, wet kiss on my lips before resting his forehead on mine and looking into my eyes. "I am so proud of you, Dalton."

I was proud of myself, too. I was proud, happy, and fulfilled for the first time in my life, and it was all because of this incredible man…vampire. Sometimes I forgot just how different we were, until it was feeding time. Damn, I love feeding time. Being able to give Hutch what he needed made me happy beyond belief. I was able to support him, like he had supported me, and we would both be there for each other until the end of time.

Sometimes it was hard to wrap my head around the idea that we would be together forever. But it was a very welcome gift; I would never be without my true love. I'd also be able to spend an immortal life with Andy, enjoying each other's company the way we should have our whole lives. Hutch gave me that opportunity, and I'd be forever grateful for finding him. He made my life worth living.

"I want to take you out to dinner; wherever you want to go," Hutch added, his proud smile taking my breath away.

"Can Andy and Tage come too? And all of our friends? I'm excited to tell them about my job." I'd grown closer to Andy, of course, along with his mate Tage - he was becoming like a brother to me as well. And my friendships were flourishing with Izzy, Nikolai, Denny, Jett, and especially Joey and Ian. The men had welcomed me into their world, and Joey even invited me to their play groups.

Although I wasn't an active member of the age play lifestyle, I enjoyed going to their groups just to watch Andy living his best life. He would play with the biggest smile on his face, letting go of any worries or responsibilities while his Daddy watched over him.

Plus, I would do silly things just to make the group laugh. I loved making everyone happy. Just when I thought life was falling apart, everything had actually fallen perfectly into place. I don't know why Fate thought I was worthy, but I was forever grateful.

"Of course they can. They'll be so proud of you, too."

I never thought I could make anyone proud, but Hutch put me on the right path and made it possible. He had absolved me of a lifetime of guilt and self loathing, all because he loved me and believed in me. He made me believe in myself. I liked myself. And I loved Hutch with all of my heart, knowing that it would only grow stronger every day.
