“Are you enjoying yourself so far?” I ask.

She smiles, squeezing my hand.

“Yes, very much! Colombo is beautiful. It’s hard to imagine we’re already halfway through the week.”

I nod.

“This is a lovely island. But have you been to the Caribbean before? There are lots of gorgeous beaches on several islands, including Aruba, Curacao, and of course, BVI. I think you’d love them.”

Rocky merely smiles.

“I’m sure I would, although to be honest, I wasn’t much of a beach girl until we got here. You know how the sand gets everywhere, and sunburns and stuff were never my thing. Maybe I’ll have to visit the Jersey Shore once we get back though.”

I chuckle.

“Hell no! Say no to the Jersey Shore because that’s nothing like the landscape here. In fact, those hellholes can hardly be considered beaches with their dirty sand and preening idiots. I’ll show you much better places.”

She flushes and goes silent.

“What’s wrong?” I ask.

“Well, I think the Jersey Shore is okay,” Rocky murmurs. “It’s not so bad.” Immediately, I realize my mistake and apologize.

“You’re right, honey. It was wrong of me to be such a sneering asshole. You’re not from Jersey, are you?”

Rocky shakes her head.

“No, but you know Millbrook’s not that far from the Garden State. We Pennsylvania citizens share a lot of cultural DNA with our neighbors.”

I nod, chastened. Rocky’s right. I have no business insulting what has always struck me as a lower-middle class enclave of wannabes. Just because they’re famous for their trashy reality TV doesn’t mean that it’s not worth visiting.

“I’m sorry,” I apologize. “I guess I must have come off as a snob.” Rocky flashes a brilliant smile at me then.

“No, it’s okay.” With that peace descends and we stroll along companionably, enjoying the warm breeze coming off the Caribbean. But then Rocky disentangles her hand from mine.

“I want to feel the water!” she giggles before skipping over to where the bright blue waves meet the sand. She dips a toe in and literally gasps with pleasure. “OMG, it’s so warm! Seriously, this is like a bathtub. Let’s never leave!”

I laugh, watching as her curvy figure bounces up and down in the surf, utterly irresistible.

“Well, we both have lives to get back to, unfortunately. Speaking of which, honey, how did you get involved in the Circle?”

The sweet girl giggles again, the sound getting lost among the crashing waves.

“It’s funny actually. My friend Elodie’s older sister told us about it when I was in high school. Cassidy was kind of a hero of mine because she was older, mature, and really, really beautiful. Honestly, I looked up to Cassidy, and I’d go to their house just to hear stories of the epic parties she went to over the weekend. She wasn’t holding back, let me tell you. She’d often hook up with multiple men at these parties, and she’d tell us all about it.”

I frown.

“Wait a minute, you started going to Circle parties when you were underage?”

Rocky shakes her head.

“No, definitely not. I was just listening to Cassidy’s stories, but as soon as we turned eighteen, Elodie and I joined. We went to a ton of parties then, and it was fantastic.”

I nod.

“Oh yeah. A pretty girl like you? I’m sure you were very popular from the get go. But why did you go, anyways? I mean, pretty girls can find men anywhere, so what was the draw?”

Rocky shrugs.

“Probably the same as anyone else. I mean, the privacy, the discretion, and the fact that the guys were hot. Also, we were really young. We were only eighteen at the time, so being a part of a secret sex club was titillating. It still is.”

I grin.

“Yeah, that part makes sense. The women are gorgeous too,” I add. “I mean, a girl like you is worth her weight in gold to a group like the Circle.”

Rocky smiles prettily while blushing a bit.

“Thanks, but the Circle suits me well. I mean, I love the fact that anything goes, sexually. It’s a no-holds-barred approach to sensuality, and I appreciate that. A lot of girls don’t want to admit it, but I enjoy pleasing men,” she shrugs. “It suits me, and I was a little bummed when I entered the Miss Millbrook pageant and had to stop.”

I chuckle.

“Well, we’re here now, and none of the Miss Millbrook people will find out.” But then I frown. “Are you too sore, honey? I saw you wince for a moment there.”

Rocky giggles.

“Oh darn, because I thought I was hiding it well. It’s just my bottom, Logan. You used it so hard last night that I’m going to take a nice, hot bath later today to help with the soreness.”

I stare at her big, ripe bottom, my mouth suddenly salivating.

“Do you want me to kiss it for you, baby? You know how good that feels, and I don’t mind licking you there.”
