“Blake? Aren’t you going to say hello?”

I realize I’ve just been staring like an idiot, and everyone in the room has been staring at me. I instantly snap out of it and force a smile that I hope doesn’t come off as too fake.

“Hello, Luna. I’m Blake.”

Thankfully, Luna smiles back in a way that comes off just as forced and nods. “Nice to meet you.”

Part of me hopes that she is socially awkward with one of those self-diagnosed anxiety disorders and just will not be able to talk to me at all. That way she’ll keep to her room during all hours of the day so we won’t be able to interact at all, and I won’t have to worry about just how unbelievably sexy she is.

Because goddamn is she a feast for the eyes.

She’s only wearing jeans and a T-shirt, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a basic outfit ever look so good on a girl before.

The jeans are stretched over the curves of her hips so tight they might as well be another layer of her skin. Her waist-to-hip ratio is so insane that if it was any greater I’d start wondering if she had been made in a laboratory. And she’s got one of those gaps between her thighs that’s making my mouth water as I think about what’s hiding beneath.

What kind of panties does she have on under there? Does she shave? I bet she does. I don’t know why I think that, but I do.

And her tits…her tits are so perky that they’re causing her T-shirt to hang like a crop-top, showing off just a hint of her flat belly. I mean, this girl is seriously sexy, and even though she’s my step-sister, all I can think about is what it would be like to fuck her.

I know it’s wrong, but is it really that wrong? I mean, we’re not really related, and up until this very moment, I didn’t even know the girl. And if I’d just run into her downtown or at the bar, without knowing who her mother was, I would have been turned on by her.

Really, it’s just society’s rules saying us getting together is taboo. I can still acknowledge just how hot she is, can’t I?

“Blake here was just painting your bedroom,” my dad chimes in, a broad grin on his face. So embarrassing. Thanks, Dad, but I don’t need you to impress her for me. “Isn’t that nice of him?”

Luna smiles softly. I can see her trying not to laugh as she nods. “Yes, very nice. Thank you, Blake.”

“Not a problem,” I reply. “Hopefully there aren’t too many streaks.”

“I’m sure you did a great job,” Susan chimes in, giving me a loving squeeze on the arm. She’s trying to fill her role as my step-mom a bit too early. Normally this would annoy me, but Luna has all my attention now, so I just sort of toss her a cursory smile that seems to do the job.

“Well, is anybody hungry?” my dad asks. “I’ve got the grill going out back!”

Susan’s face lights up. “Neither of us have eaten.” She turns to Luna. “Are you hungry, dear?”

Luna nods. “I could eat.”

My father turns to me, but I’m already nodding.

I could eat too, but it’s not whatever my father has on the grill. Step-sister or not, this girl has lit up my world like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Her entire body is a meal, and as we walk outside, I maneuver behind her so I can drag my eyes up every inch of her mouth-watering curves and think about what it’s going to be like when I devour her. Because there’s one thing for sure: This girl is not going to escape my grasp, no matter what happens…

Luna

Dinner was nice, but I feel bad for barely eating. I can tell Carson put a lot of work into it, and I barely even touched it.

There was steak, sausage, hamburgers, mashed potatoes, corn, salad, and even grilled vegetable skewers. I took a burger and a bit of everything else but ended up kind of just moving all the items around on my plate to try and hide the fact that I hadn’t touched any of them.

And why not? Because the last thing I felt like doing was eating. I was hungry when I showed up, but after being introduced to Blake, my new step-brother, everything changed.

According to what my mom told me, he’s twenty-two, which makes him four years older than me. And that’s fine. In fact, that’s kind of hot.

He’s tall, and he’s built like he’s been working out his entire life. He’s handsome as hell too, but not in that pretty way that so many guys these days are going for. There’s something kind of off about him – kind of rugged, which is strange considering how his father, Carson, looks like he could play the dad in an Abercrombie and Fitch magazine.
