Amy closed her eyes, tilted her head back, and rocked on his length. He felt the sudden change within her as her cunt tightened around him. It took all his strength not to blow his load like a randy teenager. She did make it incredibly hard not to come. Amy didn’t hold back, there was no faking it. This was all real.

She was all woman, and as she cried out his name, Daniel knew he was never letting this woman go. He’d known it last night, but she was a special kind of woman, not the kind anyone ever gave up.

The moment her orgasm eased, he grabbed her hips and bounced her on his cock, finding his own release within minutes of her completing hers. He growled out her name, and he didn’t even get chance to kiss her first. Amy cupped his face, planted a kiss on his lips, and yes, he knew she was the woman for him.

Chapter Five

Daniel looked up from the paperwork he was reading to see Nixon in his doorway.

“What’s up?” Daniel asked.

“I wanted you to know that tourist left.”

“Good.” He went back to looking at the order forms and checking over the pricing to make sure the company hadn’t gotten anything wrong. The numbers weren’t adding up, and that was when he saw the error. He circled it and reached for his phone. This happened whenever the beer company had a new assistant or something. The error was an easy fix, but Daniel wasn’t going to be the one paying for it.

Nixon still hadn’t left.

He put the phone back down. “Is there something wrong?” Daniel asked.

“I don’t know.” Nixon stepped into the office, and Daniel watched as he rubbed the back of his head, then scrunched up his face. “I know this is going to sound so fucking weird, but I got a bad feeling.”

Daniel got to his feet, rounded his desk, and folded his arms across his chest. “A bad feeling?”

“Yeah, it’s really messed up.”

“Talk to me.” He glanced over at the clock and saw it wasn’t long before Amy would be closing. She didn’t open for long on a Sunday. Just enough time for people to decide to go to Flynn’s Café for dinner, or to use it as a takeout stop. Amy’s was one of the best in town.

Daniel had the bar opening, but only till ten in the evening, and if needed, he had Nixon and August, as well as a couple of guys more than willing to man the bar. Amy had said she’d come to the bar, as he’d be opening pretty much as she closed.

“Look, I know he didn’t make too much of a fuss when I took him home, but he … it was when he left. The way he looked at this town, and I even followed him, but he stopped at Amy’s place.”

“Her house?” Daniel asked.

“No, the café. I don’t know, I just got a bad feeling.”

“But he left?”

Nixon nodded. “Which is why I don’t understand this feeling, man. I don’t like it. It’s like some kind of bad omen or some shit, and trust me, I don’t watch that horror stuff. I just can’t.”

“Do you think he’s coming back?” Daniel asked.

“I don’t know. Why would he? I’m sure guys get rejected all the time. Amy’s done a shit ton of rejecting. We all know that, and no guy has come and hurt her.”

He couldn’t help but agree, however, he didn’t like that Nixon was concerned. “I’ll put the word out to keep an eye on Amy’s place, and also watch for any suspicious activity.”

“You don’t think I’m just being stupid?” Nixon asked.

“No, we have to always learn to trust our instincts,” Daniel said. “It’s how we’ve been able to keep the town clean.”

Nixon agreed.

“Feeling any better?” Daniel asked.

“Yeah, I am. I don’t know, I always get nervous around the fair week.”

Daniel couldn’t agree more, but it was a little way off now—four weeks—but that didn’t mean it wouldn’t sneak up on them.

“Too many fucking tourists,” Nixon said.

He watched as Nixon left his office. Daniel then made the phone call, which went smoothly with all matters being resolved. By the time he finished the call, his bar was already open. Daniel left his office, closed and locked the door, and then made his way toward the open bar.

August was behind the bar, the doors already open.

He didn’t have to wait long before Amy stepped into the bar.

August let out a whistle. “I guess she missed her dancing.”

Daniel knew Amy had many admirers in town, as well as a lot of respect. The guys were fascinated by her constant hits of rejection. All of them curious as to who would finally tame her.

Amy didn’t need taming. She needed a man willing to stand beside her, and not put her in a cage. Daniel knew that.
