I replaced my tongue with one finger, then two, thrusting inside her in the same rhythm I would have used with my cock—hard and slow. She squeezed me tight, and I moaned, my lips against her clit, the vibrations making her legs clench.

She was right there.

Her thighs gripped my head, and her hands held me against her. I used the flat of my tongue to press and scrape that sensitive bundle of nerves as her hips rocked, taking what she needed, riding my fingers and mouth. I looked up and our eyes locked.

She was the sexiest woman I’d ever seen, half-clothed, her skin flushed, and the desperation in her eyes had me second-guessing my decision not to take every last inch of her in this helicopter.

She came with a muffled cry, her body arching up as the waves took her over and over.

My body screamed, demanding the same release, but I shut it down, somehow managing to leash what had become an uncontrollable desire. I softened my strokes, bringing her down until she fell limp against the bench, her chest heaving as she sucked in breath after breath.

“Oh. My. God.” She propped herself up on her elbows and looked down at me. “What was that?”

“That was…us.” I’d never craved anyone the way I did her.

Her body shivered from head to toe, and I cursed. It was too fucking cold for this in here. “Come here.” I held out my hands and she took them. Once I had her on her feet, I dragged her underwear and jeans up her incredible legs. There was still so much of her to explore, to taste.

“Weston, let’s finish this,” she whispered.

“It’s too—”

A phone alarm went off, and Callie startled, turning around to find her discarded cell on the bench. “It’s my reminder to pick up Sutton.”

“See? This is not the time.” There was a slight tremble in my hands as I dragged her zipper up and fastened the button of her jeans. Then I found my feet and got out of the helicopter, where I could stand without hunching over. My dick pressed at the fabric of my pants, throbbing in time with my pulse, but I put my hands behind my neck, closed my eyes, and willed it to stop.

It didn’t.

“But there is going to be a time, right?” Callie climbed out of the bird, and when I opened my eyes, she was standing in front of me. There was too much going on in her expression, in her eyes, to get a read on what she was feeling. There was satisfaction and want, but a touch of unease that hit me in the stomach.

“This wasn’t a quid pro quo thing, Callie,” I assured her, taking her face in my hands. “Nothing that happened in there has to be paid back, or anything. You don’t owe me, if that’s what you’re thinking.” What had happened in there had been a sweet, reckless form of madness that I could barely explain to myself.

“No.” She shook her head. “I mean, I want you.” She gripped my sweater and pulled me closer. “I know all the reasons I shouldn’t. I know it could make everything at home awkward as hell, but ignoring it has us going at it in the helicopter. What’s next? The lift?”

“Yeah, that was pretty intense.” And shit, now I was thinking of her straddling me on the lift.

“So tell me we won’t ignore it. Tell me I can have you.” She rose up on her toes and pressed a soft kiss to my lips. “Even if it’s just once.”

My control slipped, and I kissed her hard until her hands were around my neck, and mine were on her ass, pulling her closer, forgetting where we were again. “Are you trying to tell me I’m the anything in your ‘try anything once’ mantra?” I asked against her mouth.

“I think you’re the everything in that philosophy,” she muttered as her cell phone blared again. “Crap. I really have to go.”

“Go.” I dropped my hands and stepped back.

“Say yes.” She silenced the alarm and slid it back into her pocket, raising her chin in challenge as she stared me down. “We can’t screw everything up if it’s just once, right?”

“Because you think we can stop at only once.” I cocked an eyebrow at her. A single taste of her and I was already jonesing for another hit, and she thought we’d make once work? “I swear, if you say it’s to get it out of our systems—”

She laughed. “I’m not that foolish, West. But I think we either give into this thing once or we risk spontaneous combustion in the house we happen to share.” She started backing away toward the exit. “Say yes. Don’t leave me hanging out here on the limb alone. Unless you really don’t want me. Then I guess the idea is moot anyway.”
