I back up, just in time to see her roll her eyes. “You’re no help.” She pouts, leaning back and crossing her arms over her chest. The movement causes the swells of her breasts to rise, and my eyes gravitate toward them.

“No way!” She shrieks with laughter, jumping up. “You are not spreading cake across my entire body.” She tries to run, but I grab ahold of her before she can and carefully push her back onto the couch.

“You told me to pick, so you don’t get to judge my process.” I pull her shorts and underwear down and fling them to the side. “Now, hush your mouth while I finish sampling the goods.” I spread her legs and go about taste testing another part of her.

“Mmmm,” I moan, once she’s come all over my fingers and tongue. “That’s it. That’s the flavor.”

“What’s the flavor?” she breathes.

“Pussy. The most delicious flavor of all.”

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

SOPHIA

Easton: Send me a pic.

Me: I’m in class!

Easton: I don’t care. I miss you.

Me: Fine…

I glance around to make sure nobody is paying attention to what I’m about to do, then quickly snap a selfie and send it to Easton, secretly loving that my man is missing me after only a couple hours of not seeing me. Last week was spring break and we spent the entire week together. We finished up the nursery, spent time at the studio, and took a weekend trip to The Hamptons for Kendall’s birthday, where his parents have a beach house. Everyone met us there and we had a barbeque to celebrate my little girl turning seven years old. It was nice and relaxing, and when I woke up this morning and had to threaten Kendall to get out of bed and get ready for school, I wished we were still there. But at the same time, I’m excited for everything that is to come. It’s crazy to think that in a few weeks’ time I’ll not only be a college graduate but a wife, and shortly after that, a mother once again.

Easton: Fuck, you’re beautiful.

Me: Your turn!

A few seconds later, a sexy selfie of Easton graces my screen. His hair is on the longer side, since he hasn’t gotten it cut in a while, and his chocolate brown eyes are sparkling with a mixture of laziness and mischief. He’s at home on the couch and I can see a hint of his naked chest. Damn, I wish I were at home with him, snuggling up against his hard—

“And that’s all for today,” the professor says, cutting off my thoughts. “Read over chapter thirty-two and come to class ready to discuss your take on Political Theory.” The professor closes his briefcase and exits out the side door, which leads to his office.

I type a reminder into my digital planner and shut down my MacBook before stowing it away. I have one more class this morning and then I’m picking up Kendall from school and meeting Naomi, Alicia, and Nicole for my final fitting for my wedding dress—unless my belly grows too much in the next few weeks, in which case the seamstress assured me she can take it out a bit more at the last minute.

I am definitely looking forward to the wedding. For one, it will mean Easton and I are legally married. He’ll also be adopting Kendall. But also, because he’s planned a mini getaway for us. It will be our last trip before the baby comes. He hasn’t told me where we’re going, but I’ve hinted that I hope it’s somewhere with sun, warmth, and sand. Winter has been long and bitter. We’re in April and the high has been in the sixties. Even in The Hamptons it was too chilly to go swimming. I’m over it.

After gathering my stuff, I head out to meet Riggins, so he can walk me to my next class. I swing the door open and walk down the hall, toward the exit, where I know he’ll be waiting for me, when a firm hand grips my wrist and tugs me into an empty room. I don’t have time to scream before my mouth is covered and I’m shoved against the wall. The back of my head hits the wall hard, and a feeling of dizziness momentarily overcomes me.

When I open my eyes, my vision clearing, I’m standing face-to-face with the man I prayed on too many occasions I would never see again: Freeman Carmichael.

“What the hell are you doing?” I hiss, after smacking his hand away from my face.

“What the fuck are you doing?” he barks.

“The last I checked I was leaving class and going to my next one. Why are you even here?”

“I’m here because I warned you if anyone finds out about that bastard child you insisted on keeping, I would destroy you!” He smacks his palm against the wall next to me and I jump.
